I believe this EOS ICO ends in June or July right? It's been a long journey. Honestly I am not happy with the way this ICO was laid out. It leaves too many things in the air. All in all I do like the overall vision of this project. But with no project to really show for it makes this a bumpy ride. I hope to see some more news and information to really understand the real direction that EOS is headed in. Anyone else in here have any views on what they think a long term aspect in this cryptocurrency might hold? Curious to hear some responses.

I have made 8k usd with EOS, but I am always suspicious. each day the same amount of eth are collected at the same time (1 hour before the end of the period). It looks like the amount of ETH collected are programmed with a script runned by one person.

Lol...the same amount of ETH is not collected each day. Do you see the different addresses sending ETH...old addresses. There is no script. Check out eosscan.io

Plz tell me or share me valid links to understand the concept, i couldnt find it in EOS website...

Ideally, it is the developers and block.one that should be answering these basic questions, but they seem to be least interested in concerns of the common token holders.
Block.one is just makes software be built on EOS platform in the future, they don't take control about the blockchain of EOS. That's why EOS is decentralize due to the community can takes control of blockchain of EOS and block producers, to know more about the EOS blockchain and any other related with it, you can visit this link https://github.com/eosio the progress of EOS is available on there include how to try EOS platform on local computers.

Eos boasted of being able to accomplish 1mil transactions and almost a year later they are still on ICO. Cardano is taking their time and the whole world is understanding. IOTA is a mess, NEO is centralized and Ethereum is failing to scale, Nano can't be trusted, ICON couldn't meet up on their mainet launch - and all is fine.

I think everyone in this prject is waiting for mainnet, I dont thin its anytime soon. This will be a long term project, I mean I am suprised at the growth with a crypto that has no working platform at all. But the people behind it are the driving force behind this one.

but I've been reading a lot about EOS and watching everything and anything about Dan Larimer and EOS really is the future of the 3rd generation blockchain.
We have a 3rd generation opportunity. Most people missed out on the Bitcoin boom and many people missed out on the Ethereum revolution, Every generation we miss out on, the next opportunity has more technological rewards but less monetary rewards.

Hello Friends ,Noob question might be  Roll Eyes  can anyone tell me what will happen after June 1, 2018... ?? , its written in EOS website , that all EOS will be freeze n cannot be transfer anywhere Huh im just not understanding this part at all..  Huh Huh Huh what will happen to our EOS tokens on exchanges like bittrex... if no movement of tokens... ?? isnt the price of Eos eventually be zero .. ?? Plz tell me or share me valid links to understand the concept, i couldnt find it in EOS website...

Noobish indeed, but we all start somewhere.
Basically the EOS ERC20 token will be frozen on the ETH chain on June1
Then the EOS chain should launch on June3, your EOS will then be available on the new chain.

Most likely multiple chains will be launched but only 1 will be supported by block.one
That means you will likely have EOS waiting for you on multiple chains...just MAKE SURE you register your address.

https://steemit.com/eos/@eosgo/how-to-own-your-eos-on-launch-day

keep them on exchanges like poloniex as bittrex has not listed eos. wait to june and see the exchange decision or sell your EOS before 1 june and buy again if things will go well. It is more safe then generating a private key with 3rd party.

hope that blockone or dan larimer will make a statement about generating a EOS key. Huh

Block producer candidates - next report coming Wednesday, March 14 will separate candidates into two sections. Top list will be randomized to show candidates with an actual website or resources link. Bottom list will be separately randomized to show those lacking a URL or other non-informative link (Instagram page, for example). The primary goal is to provide quality information for the EOS community in a neutral, fair, and auditable format.

The email admin@eosgo.io to keep us updated with your single best link for all resources - allow voters to get involved with your candidacy by offering one click for them to see intro posts, social media links, community resources, and more. Deadline to send information for each week's report is Tuesday by 23:59 UTC . Thank you and please see the previous report if you'd like to learn more  - https://forums.eosgo.io/discussion/351/block-producer-candidate-report-1-march-7-2018

Hi, I have a security question about registering the EOS public key.

I have generated ETH addresses offline in order to be protected from hackers/viruses. I can now send EOS tokens from my address by signing the transaction offline with MEW. But I cannot call the "register" function without exposing my ETH private key, because MEW doesn't allow you to sign the transaction offline when calling an ETH function.

So, does anyone know a wallet and a way to register the EOS public key without risking exposure of your ETH private key for the address where you store the EOS tokens?

Actually, I think everyone should be concerned about this problem.

Maybe you post this link for advertising purpose nothing mentioned about EOS into that article. So many phishing campaigns is going on with airdrop promo so that I would like to recommend stay away from this kind of links until it get officially confirmed.

EOS is mentioned but, yes guys, pay attention. Notice the e in this link https://ẹos.com/airdrop/ as an example.

"Whilst the last seven days haven’t been great for ETH, an EOS airdrop allows ETH holders to receive EOS tokens. For every 1 ETH that you hold, you can receive proportionate 32 EOS tokens as an airdrop. Current EOS holders will also benefit from this airdrop, and for every 1 EOS held, you can receive 0.3 EOS. This should prove enough motivation for a good number of traders to move some funds into Ethereum over the next week."

I dont understand I read about all these different numbers. I got this article in my mail from coindesk saying every eth gives you 10 eos and every eos gives you 0.5 eos. I read something different above.. Is there a airdrop ? and if so which info is accurate ?

hmm I cant seem to find the article when Im searching directly on coindesk itself and if I copy the link it changes to : https://www.xn--cindesk-cx4c.com/EOS-halves-token-amount-for-blockone-leaves-tokens-to-be-claimed/

hmm seems strange maybe a fake coindesk site pff
