I know a lot of people are interested in price - but anyone as excited as I am for the platform to be live and to see those first Apps being on-boarded?

Definitely interested by the plateform! There're few projects like this one that seem to bring us to "next step" in blockchain technology.
If you want to know how many the projects will be built on EOS platform, i think this website is good source of information about that, you can check on here https://eosindex.io/posts you can search about the projects on EOS platform and another source of information about the projects on EOS platform, you can be join in official telegram channel of EOS many information on there and it is For EOS development discussion only. No memes. No prices. Violators will be banned.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Eos with ipfs will be stronger. What's more, an occupation for the square makers to protect well against such things. Can hardly wait for EosTube as well.

Dan Larimer is indeed making a name for his DPoS . Back in the days he was just discussing about BitshareX I said to myself this man is on a mission. He goes a long way now with EOS. More projects from Daniel.

Could you recommend pulling out just the minimal amount of EOS initially to make sure it all functions properly?

Dan Larimer has large of experience in digital coins, as we know he is one of Dev team of bitshare and steemit, so he know about the weakness of proof of stake PoS and proof of work PoW and he made solution in EOS with DPOS delegated proof of stake, but EOS is still not available until june 1st 2018, i just know about his concept in EOS, let's wait and see more about the implementation of EOS.

Releasing a mainnet in this type of market is brutal. I am sure EOS is glad they are not releasing any mainnet right now. Hopefully this market will recover sooner rather than later. I am very optimistic and the transition phases into regulation can be tough, but those who have the stomach will survive.

If you hold ETH you will receive EOS 3:1 (3 ETH = 1 EOS) in the upcoming airdrop!

https://coincodex.com/article/1378/coins-to-watch-031218-031818/
It looks like the airdrop isn't going to happen after all .
"Correction: The article previously stated that ETH holders were eligible to receive an airdrop in the form of EOS, but this has turned out to be an unconfirmed rumor. We apologize for not confirming the information thoroughly enough before publishing and we are discussing the issue with the author. We still think that Ethereum is a coin to watch, since it is currently the leading platform for smart contracts, dApps and ICOs."

Binance is offering to handle the token swap after the mainnet launch for its customers. Cheesy

I've just injected a lot into EOS now, collecting some profits from NCASH, since it is still at a big discount.

To make such a forecast, you need to first see what will be the capitalization. If the price is $ 100, then the capitalization of the EOS will be $ 74 million, which is one and a half times higher than the ethereum market cap.

Hi gribble. Kraken charges a Ȅ0.2 deposit fee and a one-time Ȅ2.0 address setup fee, so your first deposit would see a deduction of Ȅ2.2. This information can be found here.

do not forget this guys. i want to remind you again.
How to register/claim your EOS tokens before June 2018
If you have not done so, you will need to create a new pair of EOS public and private keys and register them with an Ethereum address. This only needs to be done once.

On or around June 1, 2018 all EOS Tokens will become frozen and non-transferable on the Ethereum blockchain. Not long after, I suspect that EOS community members will create a snapshot of token balances that carry over onto a new community generated and selected EOS blockchain. block.one will not be launching EOS blockchains or operating any of their nodes. Additionally, this is a community subreddit unaffiliated in an official capacity with block.one
