I think some would prefer cash over bitcoin especially in countries who are not accepting bitcoin now is because it is more accessible in buying things they need daily. I think that's the main reason why mostly they would go for cash than online currency.

I think so cash is better then BTc because we cannot use BTc in shopes to buy anything but we can use cash , we cannot buy anything from stores with BTc so I think cash better then btc

Yes fiat currency has a wider acceptance than digital currency and that's why fiat most of the people prefer to keep fiat for day to day needs and expenses other than that I don't agree that cash is better than bitcoin. I tend to be in the camp of not comparing bitcoin to cash.

For me (i'm quite the oddball mind you) Bitcoin is more of a transmission system 'for' value.

Literally it allows for all types of value to be moved from point a to b - we have only just scratched the surface of this with currency/money.

Soon your actual reputation as a person may become tokenised within a reputation based digital asset that could for instance provide you access to cheaper prices when hiring a rental car for example, or act as a social ranking system or proof of credibility system. This is another form of value transmission that is possible today, due to the blockchain.

Putting bitcoin up against cash, and then deciding which one is superior is like saying that both these things are somewhat equal and therefore comparable. I don'f feel that this is true. The bitcoin protocol can do things that a £5 polymer bank note just cannot.

Comparing bitcoin with cash, is like comparing a horse or a mule with a high speed rail system, or an aeroplane..

Cash is better as of now than bitcoin because cash is widely accepted and we can do transactions with it offline and also if we do individual money transfer, it is not that huge problem because the transaction is almost the same with bitcoin with just a higher fee. I do agree without cash there is no bitcoin . It will take generation to accept only crypto currency as a acceptable mode of all payments and purchases current generation not yet ready for this crypto currency currently we see this as another way of income .

I agree with that though I am using bitcoins because money is more secured than using bitcoins. Like today bitcoins value is not that stable it's starting to fall consecutively and my money start to fall to. And so I immediately exchange some of them into a real cash because maybe the bitcoin might crash because of the August 1 event. But lets all hope that it doesn't happen. Bitcoin and cash are both currency and helpful for me.

Yes, cash has existed long time ago, it is used throughout the years in all countries by people around the world. Bitcoin has just been used nowadays, it has just been famous. absolutely cash is better than Bitcoin. I don't say Bitcoin is bad but it still have some disadvantage. I think three reasons may be focused in this case. 1. acceptability 2. credibility and 3. availability... these three factors make them whether superior or inferior.
but cash is only accepted in a selected area. for example a cash can only be use within a state, while usng t in another country you need to change your cash into into local currency where you want to use it. while bitcoin is a universal currency and it can be use anywhere in the world without changing it into local currency.
Also Bitcoin will not for micro transactions, to buy something thats worth a few cents, no. Bitcoin is specialised, and can be better than cash in terms of security, and you can expect its price to continue to rise
