First, you'll need to download the zip file from https://github.com/Jpja/Sweep-XCP-Paperwallet (https://github.com/Jpja/Sweep-XCP-Paperwallet)

My case is that i am  having issues voting from the ledger nano S and has been impossible  sweep xcp tokens becouse doesnt recongnice the private key of the ledger hardware wallet.

I'm not familiar with hardware wallets so I couldn't say for sure what the issue would be. Is it a legacy bitcoin address? It may be best to join the telegram or discord in case anyone else has had success with a Ledger Nano S.

Can't you sweep from Ledger to something like Exodus?  Your NVST are on the Bitcoin Address.

They banned me from slack - that says everything. I was not rude in the slack channel and i did not insult anyone - i only stated that i´ll file a lawsuit against the nvo team and the escrow.

By the way:
I´ve saved everything posted in that slack channel since December 2017 - so i don´t care that they banned me (to prevent me from collecting evidence maybe?)
i reported to the police yesterday and handed everything (Screenshots, Posts, the Slack Conversations, Bitcoin-Wallet Adresses, the Names of the Bordmembers, the "names" of the escrow) to them and to my lawyer today who made contact to a lawyer which handled such cases before - none of the nvo board members tried to contact me yet to clarify anything and change my mind.

So, let´s see what happens.

Any news now? i expect they all go to jail

In case anyone is having issues voting from a paper wallet, I wrote up a quick guide.

First, you'll need to download the zip file from https://github.com/Jpja/Sweep-XCP-Paperwallet

Unzip it and open sweep.html in your favourite web browser. You'll need to input the private key of the paper wallet. Fill in all of the other details and send them to an address that you have generated on counterwallet.io or straight to the voting address.

Note: Sweeping counterparty assets can be finicky. You'll need one larger input of at least 0.0005 bitcoins in the address that you're trying to sweep from. I found that sweeping only worked when I swept all of the bitcoins along with the tokens. This is why I would suggest sending to an address generated on counterwallet.io first, then voting from there.

The voting addresses can be found at https://medium.com/@nvoteam/vote-started-b3e37e0c1ecf

To vote for a refund, send to 17vvg1h5B5qwP2d2oz7t2GpXXpztxsmjNn

To vote for the project to continue, send to 1Caux6gNUB55cALFk1EHiRY5Eo613yuGhE

Do not sweep all of your assets to the voting address! Only NVSTVOTING tokens!

If you're not sure what you should vote for, join Discord or Telegram. Many users are having issues with censorship on Slack (which is typically full) and Telegram, so Discord is suggested for uncensored discussion.

Note: The NVO team does not regularly post on Discord, so there wouldn't typically be any first hand information there.

Telegram: https://t.me/joinchat/Ff92WUidI54g8rv2NdRr1A
Discord: https://discord.gg/YvB5HXp

To view the voting results thus far, please visit https://nvo.party/vote.php

The voting should be ending some time around August 29th, although no exact deadline has been given. If you haven't voted yet, please attempt to do so ASAP in case there are any technical difficulties that you need to work through. Honestly, I'm not the most technical person so it took me quite a while to figure out how to vote from a paper wallet. I'll try to help with any questions but joining discord or Telegram is highly recommended.

Additional tip: The counterparty wallet sweeping process may appear to jam intermittently. I had a number of addresses (Electrum) and some worked while others didn't. After trial and error I figured out the common denominator: If an address has received more than one transaction (i.e. has more than one current spendable input) it would jam the xcp sweep. The solution was to send all BTC on an address to itself (collapse multiple inputs into a single). The sweep process then worked fine.

I wouldn't worry about it too much.  The vote is showing a near impossibility to change, everyone will receive a refund.  You will be sent refund BTC to your address holding the NVST at the rate of about .000093 BTC / 1 NVST.

Check both the telegram and discord groups if you have the time.  The telegram group will contain any updates regarding Ton's project he is continuing and the discord group will contain updates on nemgun's project he appears to be continuing.  NVST holders may end up earning an investment in these divergent projects although I am not sure how it will happen.

Police has started investigation and i handed all evidence i got to my lawyer and the police. They are now trying to find out the identity of escrows and nvo team members/ceo/whatever.
Nothing to say much at this point. German police is not the fastest but they search purposefully.

Let me get this right. These guys have made a few million dollars between them off meaningless milestones producing a wallet that is worthless due to the fact there will be no use for it because there will be no DEX anyway all the while I lose half the amount of bitcoins I invested in their project?

Nice scam.

Thanks. I should have clarified that. By "one larger input" I meant exactly this. If you have lots of small inputs be sure to send them to another address and send them back all as one input.

I won't complain too loud since I'm happy to get my money back at all, since they had expenses over the last year they probably couldn't pay back the BTC at its current value anyway?

Lauda, should we expect you to proceed this week, how is it looking?

I'm not asking out of curiosity, more like, as it turns out, this refund might actually really help me with a small crisis at home so I hope things can be finalized this week since according to what you said, the vote should be finished any day now.

It translates to "They have misappropriated, siphoned, stolen erm I mean used 60% of your BTC to develop a 2BTC wallet that has no use".

You will be sent refund BTC to your address holding the NVST at the rate of about .000093 BTC / 1 NVST.

Could you please explain, how this translates to 40% of the invested btc?

At the initial ICO there was an equivalent of about 3055 BTC raised.

The total funds raised per currency:
BTC: 1590.919664
LTC: 7807.588
XRP: 1325280.390
ETH: 6477.095
MAID: 765482
DASH: 1916.643
WAVES: 31145.630
DOGE: 23577240.970
ETC: 4126.090

Conversion rates per currency into BTC*:
BTC: 1
LTC: 0.01688190
XRP: 0.00010822
ETH: 0.12242700
MAID: 0.00019581
DASH: 0.07139310
WAVES: 0.00167559
DOGE: 0.00000109
ETC: 0.00760768

Total BTC raised (at these exchange rates): 3055.120324
Total USD raised at the BTC-USD price (Bitstamp): 7790556.826

As you can see, about half of this 3055 BTC value was in altcoins that many have not been converted to BTC yet, and their value against the BTC has gone down considerably.

August 13th, 2018 conversion rate:

BTC: 1
LTC: 0.00903533  (53%)
XRP: 0.00004485 (41%)
ETH: 0.04612566  (38%)
MAID: 0.00003805  (19%)
DASH: 0.02342568  (33%)
WAVES: 0.00032511 (19%)
DOGE: 0.00000037 (36%)
ETC: 0.00200381  (26%)

ETH alone raised about 790 BTC worth, and has declined in value so much that it is now worth only about 299 BTC.  So now we are down to ICO value at only 2564 BTC if you just look at that (But they may have converted some of the ETH for milestones so it is unclear what the actual number is).

60% of all ICO funds have been released per milestone schedule.  Which leaves 40% to be refunded to investors.  You can say 40% of 3055 is 1222 BTC but that won't be how it is done since the alt coins lost value.  The current 40% value is close to 1000 BTC.  And then there is a percentage of funds that were released for milestones that the team did not use and are included in the refund.  Escrows have done the math and told us the value of all funds to be released back to investors including unused forks is about 1400 BTC.  Now if altcoins surge in value and they do their conversions from remaining alts to BTC at that time we will have more than 1400 BTC.  If BTC starts to boom and altcoins lose their value, and they convert at that time, we may see less than 1400 BTC refund.

1400 divided by 15 million NVST tokens is .0000933 BTC per NVST refund.

I hope that makes sense.

Not sure where you get that?  Initial rate was .0002036 BTC / NVST

So it is a 46% refund against btc value.  Now if you count the bcash fork it is a bit less.

If someone invested in ETH, for every 1 ETH they sent they are getting the equivalent of 1.22 back.  Not too bad for a consolation prize.

You'd think with all the scammy ICOs running around some enterprising software developer could come up with an idea for automatic book keeping, something that keeps track of all the transactions of investor funds, is open to public scrutiny, and yet still maintains anonymity for the individual investor while maybe even automatically paying dividends upon success or refunds upon failure, we could call it an "intelligent legal agreement". Eh, that's just crazy talk, no one will ever come up with something like that.
