Yeah but it's always feels like a Punishment for using the Ports and than flying  around  10-20 Min to get back to a zone where Rebels spawn.

Does it really take you that long?  Are you using the maximum hyperdrive speed (25)?  I mean yes it takes a minute or two but 10-20 sounds really excessive...

What you mean by Maximum Hyperdrive? It can only teleport me to -+5000,-+5000 but the Rebels spawning around +-9500,+-9500,

It's actually luck based, If i get the Random Location event i'm fine else i need to warp 4500 times

I mean your normal moving (warping) around the galaxy - x number of spaces at a time - rather than warping to a specific location.  (The maximum number of locations you can jump on a single turn is determined by your "Hyper Drive" level on your Battle Cruiser.)  It starts at one but you can upgrade this to 25.  So starting at 5000,0 it would take you 200 jumps to reach 10000,0.

Oh, You're right, Always thought the Galaxy thingy was useless.

There will be some new additions coming to DKV2U that I am working on such as traveling merchants to exchange spare Aluminum for Credits. The merchants will also be selling brand new items that will allow players to Hyper Jump to any location they want in the universe at the cost of 1 of these items each time.

I've just been really busy these past few days but have already started working on it. I'll probably be busy over the next few days fixing my truck and helping my neighbor but it shouldn't take long to add this in afterwards once it's done.

The current chat is permanently disabled until I create a new chat that runs efficiently on php without using a lot of server resources. There's nothing wrong with the current chat itself, just how it functions.

Due to the recent hacking I have extra security put in place which is preventing chat submissions from being written into the chat files.

I've been really busy the past few days but I have the merchant code finished, just have to modify a bit more code and it should be ready.

I can't give a specific time period for its release but it will be soon.

I cannot Change Galaxies, If i set it to 1, it goes back to 25.

Could you add something to check the Speed of the site? Sometimes it's really slow and i want to know if it's my fault.

For the warping, are you modifying the number of galaxies to warp then using a hotkey to move or are you changing it and then using the Warp button? I tested it out and it is working fine for me. Whenever you want to change what the hotkeys remember you'll have to click the Warp button in the Universe screen.

For the speed of the site, traffic to my sites has risen greatly for the last few days so this may be why. You can test your connection to DKV2U by opening Command Prompt and typing ping https://dkv2.com.

I don't know if this is related to the problem you're having and Ana did already mention it, but just to be clear - are you 1/ setting #galaxies 2/ CLICKING "Warp" 3/ THEN using the hotkeys?

The hotkey will use whatever value was previously used, so if you change the value but then press the hotkey to warp rather than clicking, it won't change.  After you've clicked once, you can then use the hotkeys until you decide to change again.

Couple of changes,

1. The old chat has been removed, please use the Chat link found in the Main Menu for the game chat via TheCryptoChat
2. Travelling merchants have been added to the game, there is a 1 in 500 chance of finding one that will buy/sell aluminum for credits.

The merchants aren't fully complete yet, still have to add in the new teleport item for areas beyond 5000 in the universe.

Yeah, I should say clicking instand of press, my bad! But that what i was doing.
but seems like i got it set back to 1.

Um, Now i have the problem if i press warp the Merchant spawns.

DKV2U and CD are currently down but it's just a miner hiccup, will get it back up as soon as possible but it might take a couple days as I'll have to upgrade back to a VPS and wait for them to set up all my stuff again.
