I'm solo mining at the moment, and I've got 9 rejected and 0 accepted. Is this normal with a new coin? Or is my miner configured improperly? I'm using the same settings that I use for mining other scrypt based coins, but that was on P2Pool rather than solo mining. Not sure if that makes a difference.

I dont see how a pool can solve latency problems? Just another step to the network, surley it would increase rejected late shares?
I'm getting such pool results solo that I'm going to give it a try tho!

what about pool hosted on server near or in china? could that help?

I solve block, send to china pool, say 300ms, china pool sends to network 1ms still ~300ms, in that time people hashing with an actual low latency already claimed the block. This is how I would think it would work in my head. with these 2 second blocks 300ms is a huge margin (compared to BTC where it is inconsequential)

Seems like the server can't handle this.  Embarrassed

You can try out further or else try solo mining again, it's working quite nice now.

Allright, thats it. I will try to create a pool for us, just made some space on my server where I normally host my websites and upgraded it ($55) to handle more requests and in/outcoming speed. If anyone wants to send a donation for my effort you can send your cnh here: CQJ22rWWio91p1rAKFu9yM2LCsY4nkKotZ

Ltc and Ftc adresses in my sig

I ll start working on the server now and I hope its up as soon as possible!!

I"ll keep you guys updated

I am currently testing a stratum/gbt/gw back end on this coin.

I have been working with converting eloinpool to various scrypt coins for a bit, and this coin just came at a great time. Test nets can be hard to do with eloipool since the developer kind of scattered a minimum network difficultly check throughout the whole dam thing..among other roadblocks.... Roll Eyes   Tongue

ugghh..its back to its old tricks not submitting valid blocks.

Anyway if you are interested in maybe a little trade as I am good with the back ends of pool software, front ends (PhP , HTML etc....) are not my strong point.

the pool seems to give 100% rejects too.

will pools not solve latency issues?

how come bobs pool worked fine. I got all accepts on there?

do  i need to delete that config file i made for solo mining before using pool again?

i see 4 found blocks for pool 0 message in a row, whilst using this pool but it does not say accepted or rejected?

COME BACK BOB WITH YOUR POOL IT WORKED GREAT

even at 1 cent each that
is 100,000 dollars.

What coins are actually going for 1 cent each?  Let me tell you I held onto a lot of Terracoin that was only worth a half cent each for a long time....

My math was wrong. That is 10k.
And i was just saying if the coin has a brief moment of success one could dump bigtime and rake in easy cash.
This person is obviously playing on nationalism here. Chinese coin. How original. Figures fellow citizens of china will get onboard this instead of other alts. But eh... It might work over there. Who knows. National pride and all.

Or the Chinese government itself could have made this coin. How can we know?
