network hash rate, as I said, will allow diff change in 60+ days.

The only way I see is to do what FTC team did: hard fork, advertise it everywhere.

But: where is the dev team here?

*facepalm*  There is no dev team for this coin.   It's literally a dump coin.  The original poster just made accounts to post this and has never posted ever again.

The coin was pumped by people who mined a lot of coins early and has since sold and moved on.

Sadly, this is the truth. The only way would be a fork of it, if anyone is interested. Maybe someone holding many coins would be?

Pump & dump it's over...
Could be a nice experiment, hard fork with new rules. But, it's not clear,  exchanges and people would accept the new rules of blockchain,..., without announce of original "developer".

Linux updated wallets (source code) for: ELC, BET, AMC, NKT, SLING, CRC,...
[if (blocknumber > 115000) maxblocksize=largerlimit]   [I don't think the threshold should ever be 0.  We should always allow at least some free transactions.]

"Jason" seems to be disappeared. Fork,  ONLY to add checkpoints, while original copy-developer updates software. If he has any intention,...

reset the difficulty if you want to attract more miners and get the blockchain moving again. adding check points won change anything, diff< 2 and we'll flood here. also change the difficulty adjustment to every 100 blocks.

This coin was a circle jerk premine for chinese members of the forum, and then later dumped onto all the english people.

There is zero reason to revive it.

Would hard fork imply the current blockchain wallets remain intact?

Yes

I could issue a hardfork for this coin if people really wanted it. But this coin is shit and really should die Cheesy

Of course, the exchanges, pools, etc would all have to agree on a fork for it to actually do anything.

Only reason i'd even touch this coin is because it's on the big exchanges already, which makes it a +
if you drop difficulty to 0.1 and it's ratings go up on cryptsy, people will flock to it again, but i'd suggest whoever does it changes the difficulty retarget to something hourly, that seems to be keeping flash mining at bay on my coin.

I do believe China has great use and actual demand for an exchange traded dedicated coin, though doubt it anybody would just accept the fork. I rather suspect somebody will revive the current chain mid-term.

Pretty much impossible given how high the difficulty is.

I have a few hundreds MH/s and I am considering to re-mine a difficulty-wise longer chain from just before the last difficulty rise, and I would like to hear some feedback from the community.
