Yes , you are right . Bitcoin is better if you are comparing both , Bitcoin and gold for a longer perspective. If you take a graph of increasing prices of Bitcoin and gold in the past 4 years then you will come to know the difference. Whereas the prices of gold are almost constant and change a bit. But like for jewellery and stuff , one advantage is that you can use them for many occasions and if no damage is cost on that jewellery then you can sell them according to the market price of gold. Whereas if you use Bitcoin you will lose that amount and you will have to earn them again. But considering rest , Bitcoin is better than gold.

I beg to differ, Bitcoin is great and doing great but it is in no way useful than gold. Don't exaggerate please, we are all hopeful of a better future with Bitcoin but we shouldn't easily ridicule the importance of gold because its used almost in every manufacturing company be it electrical, electronics, medical, jewelry etc.
