I do not think there is a better comparison comparison, both of which have different advantages.
in the real world gold is a long term investment, in the world crypto bitcoin is the best.
so both have their own advantages.

I also share the same thought whenever I see these kind of topics.
Why compare them right? because it seems to me that they complement each other;they fill out each other's weaknesses. And besides, the premise is wrong in the first place since bitcoin is intangible and gold is not.

You could say that, bitcoin is now better than gold. Many say because bitcoin value is much better than gold, I personally rate bitcoin is very good bitcoin movement is quite challenging, I think gold investors will definitely switch to bitcoin.

I also consider BTCs better than gold in all prospects. It's good to hold gold but BTCs are far ahead than it in aspect of profits, transactions, security, safety, anonymity and freedom of control. It does not have a physical form and that's the best part not only about BTCs but other digital currencies also.

If you choose to invest in a short time then bitcoin is much more profitable. But if you have a longer time then gold is a much safer investment. It all depends on the condition, because there is no perfect thing in this world.

Great comparison and your points of comparing those two are correct because bitcoin is a much better investment than gold in terms of profitability and also in being convenient for storing bitcoin and gold. In bitcoin a good hardware wallet or paper wallet is enough to secure your bitcoin, i don't recommend online wallet since they are prone for cyber attacks so it is better to provide yourself a hardware wallet.

Certainly technology can innovate on Gold. Bitcoin is a supremely flexible store of value and performs to the efficiency and security of a Swiss (Army) bank.

there is nothing to argue with this debate. its so friggin obvious that bitcoin has one won the contest. bitcoin is a hell lot better than gold or any forms of money or currency,  simply because bitcoin is awesome and can do amazing things that one can imagine like faster and anonymous transaction across in any country and it can also act as payment systems to any forms of services like stores or establishments and the best thing of bitcoin is that you can earn money of it and there are many ways to get it like mining, faucets etc.

How can you forget about mentioning the difference in the rates at which the price of gold and bitcoins grow up? This is actually the biggest advantage BTCs has over gold. In a digital world, digital gold will obviously rule over physical gold.

Bitcoin is public, provable transactions, secure transaction history that cannot be reversed and many other things.

Gold cannot do any of that. Gold is sitting in a location somewhere and at best can only be bought and sold at a select few places online and actually used to buy something but with a much larger fee. Too much of a hassle.

thats true, i think we can not directly compare bitcoin with gold. after all both have different advantages respectively. just because gold is stable you can not say that bad gold and bitcoin are better, because this is just about one's people view
