So Bitcoin is better than Gold?  Yeah i think bitcoin is betted than gold. Compare to its price,demand and supply. Bitcoin now is 4000$ but gold is lower than that and bitcoin is very famous now and use for buying and paying stuffs, bills and other needs of an individual. How can you compare two to hints without a unit of measurement? Put the argument in th right perspective, Bitcoin is just higher in value than an ounce of gold not a kilogram of gold and so I expect you to state the amount of gold you are comparing with than just make a vague statement that gold is lower than Bitcoin. |

So Bitcoin is better than Gold? yes bitcoin is better than gold, we know that if we can have gold if we buy if we don't have money to buy so we don't have gold. while in bitcoin we can use bitcoin to buy gold. but we know that gold is important to our economy because we don't have gold it has a chance to fall down the transaction of the market. but it so hard to have gold if we dont have money, right. |

In my opinion, Gold is better than bitcoin for the reason that gold has been there in ages and its value has continue to rise as time goes by unlike bitcoin who's just less than a decade when it first emerge. One of the factor why i think gold is better than bitcoin is the volatility, Bitcoin's price has a tendency to suddenly fall unlike Gold who's value is constantly increasing. Second is bitcoin is a digital currency, meaning it doesn't have physical appearance and it's just existing in internet so if there's something to happen to internet, bitcoin will be greatly affected. |

I agree with your opinion. First, the price of Bitcoin will goes up higher day by day, you will gain more income if you choose to earn Bitcoin by investing. Secondly, to me, keeping Bitcoin in our wallet on the internet is more secure than keeping gold in our house. |

Here the factor is not for the profit we can make in bitcoin but also another factors are the main things that making it more better than gold silver like assets . With bitcoin you can trade easily than what you can do with the gold . And also with the use of the bitcoin you will don't need to take tension in the taxation because if you are honest then you need to pay at the last with overall profit , so don't need to take much stupid things to do . Here if you can see then you will found that bitcoin is a better option of the payment and also you can use it for the worldwide payments . So here bitcoin have no limit to use for the flow of the money but in the gold we have many types of the limitations to have as an investment . |

I agree with your opinion. First, the price of Bitcoin will goes up higher day by day, you will gain more income if you choose to earn Bitcoin by investing. Secondly, to me, keeping Bitcoin in our wallet on the internet is more secure than keeping gold in our house. That is correct. moreover, we only need to use a small storage to store our bitcoin while we need a bigger space if we want to hold our gold. Bitcoin is way more faster than gold and you can use it on the internet without any restriction. Bitcoin can easily be sent oversea in less than minutes. Therefore, holding bitcoin will make you nearer to the future. Bitcoin will surely give us a brighter future |

Gold is not that rare. Till now, more than 180,000 tonnes of gold have been mined from the earth's surface. Much more of that metal is lying in reserves, where the extraction is not profitable at the current prices.
Gold might not be that rare when compared to bitcoins limited number but it is a percious metal for centuries and many wars have being fought in the name of gold and that wont happen when it comes to bitcoin.  The ultimate comparing would be that the price of gold and bitcoin cannot be compared in the same sentence in the future as i hope the price of bitcoin will surge higher than an ounce of gold. |

In some topics, yes, in others not. For example, int the aspect of the total supply, they can be equal, but the bitcoin its a cryptographic technology, and its based in the low (very low) probability of break then, so this its not 100% secure from all, and the gold its physical, and no materia can be created from nothing, and this is a fact. But if you compare the difficult of manage of the gold and the bitcoin, the gold needs a real space to storage this and the bitcoin not. So thats depends of your opinion. (i prefer the bitcoin).

According to me, both has pros and cons.
Pros of gold - Gold has stable price with less fluctuations
Investment is safe
cons of gold- It may be theft or stolen by someone because it is physical asset.
Pros of btc - It is virtual asset no can theft it without knowing your password and private key.
It is totally anonymous.
Cons - Its unstable price is point of fear for investors.

You have rightly mentioned all the possible reasons which support your argument that “Bitcoin is better than gold”. I think the most basic reason of placing Bitcoin at a higher place than gold is the increase in the market price so much significantly. Moreover the profit which the investors are getting is far more than if they have invested in gold. |

well for me definitely yes, first because gold is harder to find compared to bitcoins or to be precise there are more accessible ways for most people to gain bitcoins compared to mining and trading gold. |

Don't think so. During the first decade of this century, there was a huge spike in the gold exchange rates. The exchange rates went up by up to 400% in a matter of 10-12 years. |

i think advantages of both are more that their disadvantage, to me although i have some gold in form of jewellery , but still i also trading bitcoin, because it is clear that bitcoin can give me more profit as compare to gold, as the price of gold is more stable and therefore we cannot expect that we can make good profit from holding golf even for a long time. |

I love gold- but when you understand that fundamentally the only "inherent" value gold has is that we as humans simply LIKE it and value it for that reason, you realize that humans can view Bitcoin the same way. Crypto is use-able in ways gold is not.
Peter Schiff made comments about how gold can be linked to a debit card and you can "spend" your gold which is stored in a companies vault. The problem with this is that at any moment the gov could shut that company down. Crypto cannot be shut down. You can outlaw it, but you will find it impossible to enforce. There is no central location or server to shut down, whereas with gold you can shut down the businesses and that leaves people with the ability to trade gold only face to face.
People will always love gold, there will always be a market for it, but Crypto will totally eclipse it in value.
The day will come when it's not even an interesting question to compare the two (because Cyrpto is so far ahead), but instead Crpto will solely compete with fiat.

So Bitcoin is better than Gold? There are some aspects that bitcoin is better than gold and then some when gold is better than bitcoin. It depends on the basis of comparison. When you talk about price then bitcoin is better than gold because bitcoin has thrice the price of gold but when it comes to popularity, gold is better than bitcoin since gold is known by everyone while bitcoin is still new so its not yet that popular. When it comes to traders, I think they would choose bitcoin over gold because a lot of trading opportunities in bitcoin because it is more volatile than gold. Okay with the figures you briefed. But what you say about the market of bitcoins. They were figured out for the first time in 2008 and it is just eleventh year and see price rise from 0.04$ to $4661.61 so far. Do the gold is going up with that much speed as gold ? |
