Well.... If you have $1 000 000 worth of gold stashed at home, you going to have to make sure you have top-notch security and you have to keep you mouth shut and not allow anyone to know what's stashed at home. Lets say one day you have a plumbing problem or some sorta issue that requires contractors to come to your home. The contractors chat to maybe your Gardner and they find out that you have secret room but he has no idea whats inside... how does the gardner know? Well the contractors who installed the secret room let slip in earshot of the gardner what they were building... so now the plumbing contactors finish the job and go home.. then one of them are at a barbeque with their mates over the weekend...after a few beers he tells his friends about this job they did where this dude is loaded and he has a secret room/safe... with probably a fortune stashed there. His friends tell other friends.. next thing you know some bad elements get wind of this potential loot... and they plan an armed robbery... this places you and your entire family at risk. Also, if you need to get out of the country fast or needed to leave your home in a hurry (Zombie apocalyse or civil war or freak WW3 or whatever) try lugging $1000 000 of Gold with you... plus even if you get it out.. you will be a constant target where ever you go. Now, if you have $1 000 000 of BTC with you... lol, no one will even know.. u can travel anywhere you want in the world and your money will fit in your pocket... if you accumulate more BTC no problem fits in the same pocket.... No risk to your family and doesn't make you a target... (of course have a few offline wallets where u store ur main loot and then other ones for transactional purposes.) Gold, no thanks  |

Well 1.000.000$ is a lot. One should never say never of course. I doubt it though that it will reach this level. Some other coin, that is better, faster, more secure and fee-lees will take its place before that. But I do believe we are just at the beginning of the BTC bubble, so it will easy hit 25.000$ by the end of 2018. |

in some aspects i do believe bitcoin is better than gold. such as with the amount you can carry, you simply cannot carry a huge amount of gold with you. unlike with bitcoin you can carry a large sum without any worries in security and and how you will carry it.  Bitcoin is also way better in its divisibility, you cannot divide an ounce of gold but you can divide a bitcoin in many satoshis, so you can pay anything you want with that bitcoin while it is impossible to buy a cup of coffee with an ounce of gold. |

For me they are both good in their own ways lets say for instance gold is known by everyone in this world and anyone will accept gold as payment or you can sell it very fast unlike in bitcoin some people don't have idea what is bitcoin and they will never understand its significance unless they will search it on internet. But in the other hand bitcoin has more value than gold and it can be gained in many ways. So we don't need to compare the two because like us people we are better just the way we are.

I think for me bitcoin better than because of it's popularity and the increasing price of it every month, and I totally don't have any of gold is I really say that bitcoin is better to good as use it in everyway I go.
Bitcoin is really trend right now and I can't help myself but to amaze to its popularity too. Having a knowledge about Bitcoin right now, I could say that Bitcoin is better than Gold. Gold may hold physically but its value is has a big difference with the value of Bitcoin. |

of course. Bitcoin has many advantages. Bitcoin transactions are fast. Bitcoins have low fees. Bitcoin is anonymous, only users know it. Bitcoin is also scarcity. Bitcoin is uncontrolled, no one can control bitcoin. I am very optimistic about the future of bitcoin. |

I dont think that there will be many people admit that Bitcoin is better than Gold now. This is due to of the fact that Bitcoin is not popular now. It is limited in some countries where ban it.

I believe so if we take into consideration the profit that we gain in bitcoin over a certain period of time compared to gold. Both have their pros and cons but if we are considering the idea of gaining huge profits over a decade, i think investing in nitcoin would be better. however, investing in bitcoin is way more risky than with gold so absolute caution and observation must be applied.

Bitcoin is just riskier than gold but with a proper management of bitcoin from its users will give bitcoin a possibility to outperformed gold for a lot of years. Gold is just good because of the stability but if you know how to take risk and how to analyze the market then bitcoin will be the best option for you because you can earn a lot of profit in bitcoin in just a short period of time. |
