It's not a big money to risk $ 500. So I think you should buy them if you are seeing the most risky coins. The greater the risk, the greater the gain. The more risks you take, the more money you earn.

My favorite coin apart from BTC is Monero, so I choose it, although I think that it will not bring overprofits. If I take lowcaps, I like BitTube.

If I hard that $500 then I would invest into Etherium and Bitcoin right now. Cause now price of this two crypto coin is very cheap.
$500 is a capital that is not so big in my opinion, holding will not generate big profits even though it increases 2 times in a year, so I would prefer to trade it, to grow first. then if my assets have expanded, I will think of holding some of my assets |

You definitely have your reason for saying this which I also understand due to the advice been giving to people this days but in this kind of situations I believe the OP did not know what or which coin to invest in which is why he seek for our advice and if I were the OP I will put my money on bitcoin. |

If I had this amount to invest I would select low cap crypto. you know why? You can accelerate your deposit with trading and smart investing.
Only then you can swith to something else, like creating balanced portfolio

If I have to allocate $500 in crypto portfolio. Then first I peg $100 in USDT then from another $400 I will choose minimum of 5 crypto to invest. My choice of coin would be Reddcoin, TRON, Datum, Ziliqa and EOS.
Why do you want to choose this currency? USTD price does not change sufficiently, and if you want to get some profit from investments, you should better pick other altcoins like TRON, for instance. |

There are many profitable coins in the market today and most of them are in the top 20 of the coinmarketcap. But if you want to select the right coin then make your own research first bfore you buy. If I have that money, I'm going to invest in 3 to 4 coins and choose the likes the ethereum, xlm, ada and xrp. I'll also consider some low capital but quality coins with upcoming events because they have the potential to go up.

For now I would say that investing by buying as much bitcoin as possible. You can see it now, bitcoin prices continue to increase every time. We can fold 500USD into 1000USD very quickly. Trading bitcoin is a very careful job. Im still bullish on btc and ltc im slowly accumulating with whatever fiat i have spare. And also choosing some masternode projects i beleive in. |
