Good question and thanks for this. Actually if i have $500 then i will buy Eth. Because eth going to a very good move and eth future is very good i think. That's why i want to invest in eth. I believe that, eth will reach a very good position in this year.

If I had only $500 to invest I would pick from bottom, undervalued and promising coins for long term holding. For example I would put my money on Aurora DAO, it's very cheap now. when Idex market users become as high as Kucoin and Binance users it will go up significantly.

Also on BTC, it's very cheap now, Investing on Bitcoin will give you good returns after a long time, but in short time investing on Altcoins will give us a good profit. So if we are looking for a long time invesment Bitcoin is good, short time better invest on Altcoins.

You can also try to find fast 3x and make your investment capital more for long term investments. For example I made 3x in ZRX in one week and then I used that money for buying other undervalued coins. Timing is very important there, you also need some luck. Don't make panic buys and sells, try to buy from the lowest point. I suggest you low marketcap coins at that stage.

I will buy bitcoin immediately. The price of bitcoin right now is $8000. It is a good price to get on a boat and sail it to the whole new place. I have waited for this event for a long long time. If I have 500$ and I don't mind waiting for a while I will invest it into Ripple (XRP) as it is still yet to recover from its recent dip which it got down from 3.3$ per coin to .58$ which is really a big downfall for Ripple. But if it will start to recover soon we might see Ripple to gain 600% again when other cryptos start moving again. And even though Ripple is below 1$ (.74$ to exact) it is still the third biggest cryptocurrency in terms of market cap and it means a whole lot in terms of movement.  My 500$ might be 3000$ soon if I hodl.

in my opinion if you want to invest for a short term you can invest 100 coin highest in coinmarketcap but if you want to invest for long term you can invest in new ICO. because I just have $500 for invest then I prefer to invest long-term by choosing a new ICO and HODL.

$500 is not an big capital to invest to be honest so it won't be worth to invest in bitcoins as it will give me very less proportion of bitcoins so I will divert my investment towards altcoins and at that stage after doing a good research I will choose some altcoins that have very low price but have tendency to grow in future and if decision goes wrong then who knows I may even double or triple my investment in quick time.

Most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.
The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

The truth is that you will never find a good answer from someone else in what to invest. Do you have $500 or $500k the problem is the same. Who to trust? The most important thing is to trust yourself and your decisions. Thats why the most important thing is to make own research about the project in which you want to invest and then decide for yourself if it is worth the risk. Don't trust anyone, only your own decisions!

better to put only a coin on a lot of capital of yours, so then the risk if the coin price down will be smaller. Maybe you can install on ethereum, bitcoin, BTG, and xlm.

I'll invest it in a legit ICO. thats what I did last sept which gave me a x200 roi. Just waited for my ICO to have its momentum. Just make sure the project and the team is legit. Patience will reward you

$500 is enough to split into several cryptos (never put all into one basket). I would invest:

- $100 in BTC
- $100 in ETH
- $100 in a privacy coin like XVG (Verge)
- $100 in another privacy coin like Spectre or Monero
- $100 in Ardor (ARDR) as it has a better technology as even ETH

But this is only my personal opinion. Don't take it as an investment advise of course.
