It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I would choose projects that just started the ICO because such projects can bring the most money.

If I have $ 500 I will invest half in BTC and half in XRP because in the future these two virtual currencies will increase their value.

I would choose the best ICO project to invest $ 500 in that ICO project because that ICO project gives me an extra 600% more money than the original 500%

I would invest in ICO. yes, it't risky, but it worth it. Safinus is pretty interesting, for example. It's smth different, I bet it will be one of the best this year.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

They are on Pre-ICO stage right now, you can check their website: https://ethermeta.com/
Or even better go through their Bitcointalk thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2659058.0

Still, if you have free time, you can study the altcoyins, and buy them yourself! Or join the community, where they give signals for the acquisition of promising coins!

If it's only $500, I'm going absolutely ham and looking for moonshots. No point in going ETH/NEO and hoping for a 5x by end of year.

Go for a moon like HPB or NAS and hope for minimum 20x with a chance for even more. Even if you went $250 in each of those and one went to 0 and one 20x'd, you still have more money than ETH/NEO. No reason to be conservative and boring for $500.

500 USD is not a big money. İt is not true to create a portfolio and invest in it. Try to find some big and hyped ICO like Arcblok or Selfkey invest with all your money in it and sell when they list in the exchanges. Don't wait. With this way maybe you can multiply your money in a short period of time. And then you can create a portfolio and invest. But ICOs are always risky.

Which ICO are you referring here which would give you 600% profit, can you name the project which you think has the potential to achieve the target?

Buy etherium, the most reliable investment, with little risk and good stability. You will have the confidence that you will not lose all your money, and maybe you will make 2X, 3X

All investment is risk so need to invest how much we can affors to lose and dont ever more.
In this case, etherium is the most reliable one and i agee because its very stable. I know the market run not so high but its more stable rather than other.

I would consider diversifying my portfolio to accommodate the first 20 alts. But I think I would have more preference for Ethereum,  Veechain, Qtum and NEM. Too many money type alts on that list... LTC,  BTC, XRP, XLM,  DASH... I might just pick a few of those since they offer similar use cases but it must be a competitive one.

If at this time. $ 500 may be too small to get ETH and BTC. Therefore, I would choose to invest in Ripple and NEO. Because after recent improvements, I think RIpple and NEO will fly high in the near future.

$500 is not a huge amount of money if you invest it in a couple of coins. But if that's the only money you can afford to lose in trading then stick to at least the 3 best coins that you think will grow in the next few years. I would personally choose Bitcoin, Ethereum and  XEM as my top 3 coins to hold on for the next few years.

Same question as in topic.
Where you invest your money today?
Btc, Ltc, Eth, Lisk or what?

The best thing that you can do is diversify. Although it does not guarantee against loss but you can surely minimize the risk. Invest 75% in bitcoin and the remaining 25% to ethereum. In my own opinion, you don't have to invest entirely in 1 bitcoin or 1 ethereum instantly because you only have so much. Invest portion by portion for now, in the long run who knows you'll have so much without even noticing it.

if you only have 500$ I'd say invest 200 in sonm right now (for about 1000 tokens), 200 in LTC (1LTC) en 100 in Adbank (5000ADB). Leave it for 2 years, then reinvest in a bunch of new startups.
