I think 500$ is a better start to invest in Bitcoin. Because we all know that when it comes to stability wise, Bitcoin is the best among the rest. Aside from this, Bitcoin price never failed but it is increasing everyday instead. Altcoins are also good but not as good as Bitcoin.

80% of amount i would probably invest on Ethereum (long term). The rest would be used for some daily trading and on ICO that  would be monotored as well.

Investing in bitcoin is probably a safe option but you will not have too much profit with $ 500, because although the oscillation of bitcoin is frequent but the price of a bitcoin is too high, you almost can not buy too much, profits also from that small gradually. So if you want to make a better profit, you need to choose altcoin, and my best suggestion is litecoin because it fits in with our capital, it has a relationship with bitcoin, value also fluctuates frequently, the safety and profitability that we get is better invested in bitcoin

If you want long term investment ill go with ETH because it is continuously  grow , but if you want pump and dump token try MAN token ,i earn a lot because of this token. Always remember you must analyze first before investing .

If i will have a 500$ right now, i would purchase many ethereum and bitcoin. I would hold those purchased crypto coin upto the year where the value of its coin are enough for me to invest again into another coins like investing in an ICO or trading another altcoins.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

In my opinion, if I have 500$ now, I would to invest in LTC a bit and in ETH. For me ETH has the potential to become the next Bitcoin main. Now Litecoin is sleeping, it also have the potential to have more value. Or we can choose WAVES, WAVES maybe will not go super high, but it is enough to make a huge profit.

If it were up to me, I would make better choices and pick the safest currencies. With $500 you can make a very good and
smart investment out of it, basically it all comes down in acquiring the ones that would safely ensure or offer better chances
of growth. Bitcoin and Ethereum are the best ones to invest in, Bitcoin maybe very volatile but it's prices is very appealing
and it's moves around faster compared to the others. Ethereum is a very solid currency, it's remarkable services and growth
is all but propitious. Though I think you should wait for a red day and split it on these two and your good to go.
