Currently I'd keep out of investing in crypto because market is sinking. Of course you can hit a lucky ticket if market will grow again but no one can guarantee that it will happen.

I would go $250 on POLY which is security tokens platform and currently the only one to do so. Huge potential for security tokens in the coming years, easy 5-7x in any bull run and if you HODL for 15-18 months, you can see 10-12x gains.
Another $250 will go to PRIV tokens, new anonymous coin and not doing any ICO. more than 50% will be airdropped to community members through 20 rounds of AD. If you missed MONERO or ZCASH during there lows, don't miss this one. 10-12x gain in next 2 years for sure and 30-40x potential in next 3-4 years time frame.

but for today almost everyone is trying to make some forecasts, but no one gives guarantees. A rather complicated situation has developed and everyone who tries to adjust themselves to trade and investment is at risk. |

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts. I was asking myself what to do when cryptocurrency goes down and found out that the most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now. The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster. I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place. 500 dollars most likely will be divided into top coins. Or I'll select ICO options if they are for long-term ones. But here it is more difficult to calculate and more risks. In general, you need to understand the original goals.
For me top coins for that amount is not that bad, of couse i will try to make more investment than only putting this money in eth or bitcoin but it is up on him, for me some alts are good to invest for long time cause some of them could just easily follow upcoming trend of market. |

Considering there's bargains about in alternative assets a few top quality ones might make a good low risk higher ROI portfolio but a lot of lower quality ones might be a bit of a risk at present

i think holding 500$ to invest is not a huge a mount of money to invest in cryptos, we can do many thing really helpful in real life rather than investing, however in this down trend market, we can invest many altcoins with just 500$, so i think you can invest in ripple or Stellar, they can have the chance to be pumped again in the future.
I would also go for Bitcoin and own some portion of Bitcoin with my $500. And since the price of Bitcoin in down right now, no time can be a perfect time to invest in Bitcoin that this one. Besides, I would hold for long because of the gains that you get when you hold your coins for long. ETH could also be a best option to invest in because the cost of investment in ETH is also down and it is expected to rise in future and I prefer the future profit than the current money. |

The best advice is to buy ETH in the market because right now the price went very low in the market and there is a huge chance to increase its price along with the Bitcoin. I hope ETH is always good to hold it for long term.

Hold it until the blood bath ends. Most of the coins have hit rock bottom and still falling. Hold your USD until we get some positive candles in the bitcoin map.

Right now I'd say AION is a solid choice, its about 20 times lower than its ATH and their product is unique. Sonm is also a very good choice, very cheap these days but huge potential. I wouldn't invest in some of the bigger ones, I still believe ETH could go x10 from here but a multi billion project is going to need a lot more capital than those two i mentioned.

500 bucks is too small amount for serious trades and getting a serious profit. suitable only for training trader skills. |

If I have 500$ now for investment, I would put 400$ of it to the altcoin in my signature. It's price is pretty cheap right now ranging from 700-900 satoshi price, I think it got a lot of potential. I would put 100$ left on bitcoin when another correction occurs.

With this bearish market that still in effect then better i would keep the money until i confirm that bullish market is now starting because what is usually happening now is when you buy the dip buy it dips more. Except if you are in to long term investments then buying now will be better but just ensure to choose the best coins to ensure your long term waiting will not be in vain.
