im a little bit courious about chip mixer. Could someone take a few minutes to explain me following things, to get slightly common with chipmixer. Is this for a university project? If so, shouldn't you be able to answer most of your basic questions on your own, by reading the thread and website? If this is for a research project then you're probably going to want to cite more than one site in your project, you could start by looking at the main features and the FAQ on chipmixer.com's actual website. Stories and other info can be found by reading through this thread or looking at website review sites.

Hello guys,
im a little bit courious about chip mixer. Could someone take a few minutes to explain me following things, to get slightly common with chipmixer.
- What was the main idea of chipmixer ? - Do you have any Updates or News coming up next or are you working currently on something specific ? - What makes it different from other similar apps? - Short description of main features ?
Kind regards
Alex
One of the biggest differences with ChipMixer vs. other tumblers is that ChipMixer doesn’t charge a fee to use the service. As far as I know, ChipMixer is the only mixer that is free to use. That’s the major difference between ChipMixer and everyone else.

That’s the major difference between ChipMixer and everyone else. Along with you being able to withdraw chips as private keys instead of the bitcoin so you can set your own fee. There is also improved anonymity with this mixer as the chips that come out are a fixed size.

Be wary people i have deposited about 1200 euro's yesterday and i contacted support about it, 24 hours later no response. I have never had any issues with Chipmixer before so i never had any reason to contact support, how often do they reply? I deposited another 200 + today to see if it would go through, but nothing appears, even though all transactions have full confirmations.
I think they are having issues with the site so wait before depositing because your btc will get stuck.
Could support PM me and answer my email please? I doesn't feel right to have currency stuck with the clock ticking..
Thank you Chipmixer

They don't have a 24/7 support yet. But usually, they answer in 1-2 days. Just keep extending your session if needed and you will be fine. Edit: On a side note, I just saw that they increased the session default time to 7 days. So you will most likely not have to extend it.
This is what probably happened: Sorry about that. Our bitcoind got stuck. Please check again - it should be solved already. the last time (in January) when the same thing happened, he came to forum and fixed it in less than a day I confirm - this is the same issue as in January. We will need to investigate this more.

Thank you Ninja that's very comforting, glad to see people around taking their time to help a stranger out One more question, can they really restore my session if i still have the BTC address as addressed below? SUPPORT If you need to restore session, please provide your deposit address or used voucher code.

Please do contact us when you have an issue. I deposited another 200 + today to see if it would go through, but nothing appears, even though all transactions have full confirmations.
If something is broken - please contact our support and wait for reply. Throwing more money into it is not wise. Could support PM me and answer my email please? I doesn't feel right to have currency stuck with the clock ticking..
Sorry about that. Issue has been fixed, please check your e-mail.

The minimum is back to 0.001... ---snip---
As TheQuin said also, it still says the 0.004 BTC on the main site @chipmixer, could you cange this when removing the gambling feature? Can you also change the bit at the bottom that says sessions will timeout after 48h and change that to the 7 days it currently is please ? has it been confirmed the minimum deposit back to 0.001 btc? none of jackg's request of (display) update seems to have been applied I want to make 2 separate deposit txs (in 1 session) that totalled over 4 mBTC, but afraid to lose them all

has it been confirmed the minimum deposit back to 0.001 btc?
Yes. Minimal amount you can deposit is and always was 1 mBTC. If you deposit 3 mBTC you will receive 3 mBTC. Sometimes mining fees go so high we disable withdrawal of 1 and 2 mBTC.
I want to make 2 separate deposit txs (in 1 session) that totalled over 4 mBTC, but afraid to lose them all I'm pretty sure that's possible.

I think the confusion comes from the information on the site. The deposit page just says this: That hasn't been updated to reflect the change back to 0.001 and didn't make any differentiation between minimum deposit and minimum chip size.

Copy the token and deposit address you were given and ensure they're backed up somewhere and hit refresh if you haven't already as sometimes noscript blocks it and it could be accidentally turned on by a lot of browsers (and intentionally by tor and firefox).
If that doesn't fix it, message support and keep yourself preoccupied while you wait for a reply in a few hours/days.

The noscript is not the issue, i had try in other browser without noscript and i got the same result. I did just sent an e-mail to the support. Also, this is not the first time when i use this mixer, i had been using it since months without problems. Anyone else used the miner in the last few hours?

It's best just to wait for support to get back to you. This was the outcome the last times this happened: Sorry about that. Our bitcoind got stuck.
