Important announcementChipmixer.com is no longer under our control. Do not use itWhat is happening?Chipmixer com domain is pointing to our IP. Attacker server is responding to requests made to this IP. Attacker used it to create new SSL certificate https://crt.sh/?id=6604573658Attacker is using it to serve altered website that changes deposit addresses and also displays invalid onion address. Chipmixer com has been disabled till fix is found. This has happened before with different service provider https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1935098.msg58026067#msg58026067Tor / onion service has not been affected.Any data sent to and received from .com on April 24 may be compromised. Sweep your chips and do not reuse session tokens.Contact us at chipmixer@protonmail.com if you have been affected. it has been over 24 hour now and I still receive no response from your support. can you please check? i lost over 5 BTC on this and no one even say 1 word to me still... EDIT: the chipmixer admin has contact me now and said he will resolve. he could not respond to my email because my mail server was block.

Just hang in there. I know 5 BTC is such a huge amount to cause panic and worry, but as of now there's nothing to do except wait for a response from the chipmixer team. If anything wrong went on and the funds were stolen. I still believe they have the capacity to refund the Bitcoins to you.

At least one of .ru email does not accept protonmail emails.
This situation persists. If you have not received reply from us - please contact us with different email provider. Please do not post multiple times after announcement has been made. Status.com is disabled and will be disabled for now. .onion is working and not affected. If you have active session and you have used .com - do not wait till it get enabled. Learn how to use Tor Browser and restore session over .onion. Onion address is http://chipmixorflykuxu56uxy7gf5o6ggig7xru7dnihc4fm4cxqsc63e6id.onion/Now almost every link you can find with google is scam.

Visited http://chipmixorflykuxu56uxy7gf5o6ggig7xru7dnihc4fm4cxqsc63e6id.onion/, its works just fine right now. Have you tried to use a new Tor circuit for the site? Sometimes I do too can't connect to the site, but spinning up a new circuit would solve it.

I just double checked now opening Chipmixer onion website, started mixing and everything works just fine fine for me. Are you 100% sure you used correct v3 onion website (quoted link posted above), and have you tried restarting Tor browser? You can always Restore your Session if you saved Session Token.

Did you load ChipMixer from Tor? That's the only way to use the legitimate ChipMixer at the moment.

Just wondering @ChipMixer
Since the clearnet domain is facing a lot of attacks, shouldn't the better solution be that the clearnet be just used for informational purposes about Chipmixer and also a link to the tor version that the users can use to mixer coins. More like a move pushing users to mix through the tor version.

I would say this is mandatory. They may temporarily lease another server and host a simple information page about what's going on and direct traffic to the onion address. by searching through Google the first result directs me to chipmixer domain with .xyz extension, with a very similar (maybe even identical) design there is easy to make a mistake.

.com has been removed by Google as copyright offender. See here: Google received a complaint from the .online domain and it got the original .com domain removed from searches because of this?

More like a move pushing users to mix through the tor version. I would like to tweak that suggestion of yours a little bit. They should definitely create a new clearnet website since the old one no longer works, but there shouldn't be a link to the onion website. Instead they should link to this ANN thread and instruct users to check the OP where the correct onion link is posted. Or at least ask customers to verify that the posted onion link on the clearnet site is the same as the one that appears in the Bitcoin ANN. Just in case the clearnet version gets hacked and someone posts a link to a fake mixer. Someone could of course post a link to the wrong Bitcointalk thread or a completely different source, but I think the potential damages are smaller by linking to the ANN thread as well.

Wtf?! I don't understand how google can do this, unless they are already operated only by robots! Original Chipmixer.com domain was registered in 2016 and .online domain registered five years later in 2021, they could even check archived pages. I have no idea how to fix this, but one possible solution would be rebranding, or making Chipmixer wallet.

I have no idea how to fix this, but one possible solution would be rebranding, or making Chipmixer wallet. Or just don't have a .com. ChipMixer is dominating in bitcointalk in spite of everything. As I've already said, it'd be better to just link users here, in the ANN thread. Then, they can read a summary of what's ChipMixer or/and just click the onion link.

I don't think relying on a third-party website (Bitcointalk) as a primary source for the real URL is a good idea, and I'm not sure how many people are going to verify it. But I've seen confused users who weren't sure what the real URL is. Wtf?! I don't understand how google can do this, unless they are already operated only by robots! Probably for the same reason as keeping multiple phishing sites on top of the first search page: they don't care.

I think the reasoning would be that this site is harder to interrupt/ddos due to cloudflare and I'm not sure liky it'd be that chipmixer could get and host a cloudflare account (eg kyc might be needed and if ddosed too much they might be suspended/charged more).

I think we need to fight fire with fire. I suspect that the scammer behind the .xyz site spammed google with "legal removal" requests, probably with a bunch of different google accounts. I've just reported the .xyz site as malware using the link below. I suggest we all submit a report, making it hard for google to ignore. https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_badware/?hl=en

this is really amazing to me that Google made a reaction like this on the report of a site that is significantly younger than the original. I would even think that the site (.online) in question is the property of the original Chipmixer owner, In the bottom, we can see a link to real chipmixer .onion (chipmixorflykuxu56uxy7gf5o6ggig7xru7dnihc4fm4cxqsc63e6id.onion) page. or is it just a trick to deceive users in their impersonation? I think we need to fight fire with fire. I suspect that the scammer behind the .xyz site spammed google with "legal removal" requests, probably with a bunch of different google accounts. I've just reported the .xyz site as malware using the link below.
