what would you pick.
a 1080 card, or a 1080ti card (price is excactly 20% more for the ti).
1080Ti is 20-25% more profitable (depends on the algo) so if the price differs 20% I would go with the Ti. Plus you will have a more up to date GPU to keep up with the global hashrate. Try to get Asus, Zotac, MSI or Gigabyte Aorus. Don't go for some shitty case, you will experience lesser hashrate and higher temperatures. My 1080 ti has 40% more hashrate than my 1080.. If I was to invest again, it would be ti's. Well in that case there is something wrong with your 1080 the difference between 1080 and 1080Ti is 25% max. I have both in Asus strix models.

I sell my 5 Aorus TI xtrem. There's so better and profitable things to do rather than mining today in crypto.. PS : It's really not so hard to find Mining today in crypto is very very good profit. But on one condition - if it's wise to approach the matter! But of course if you mining zec then any cards fool shit!!! So in my opinion you made a mistake Oh, you sure ? We have not the same definition of the 'profit' term How can I make 2500% ROI per year, and 6000$ month, without my PC powered on, and the heat of the cards ? How many 1080Ti's give you 6000$ month ? An entire farm ? ^^ I repeat : there is VERY more profitable options than mining nowadays... can you please light us a little?? i know mining is bad and will only keep going worse... sometimes it feels its not worth the hassle at all, chasing new coins sometimes pays well but this is something that happens only once in a while what other options are you talking about? MasterNodes, Stacking, POS exchange, Trading bots, Pump and dump, Ponzi schemes that double BTC daily all this options means big investment big risk im just a broke %·$%· looking to have a life outside regular slave office work... but you cant get real money from mining He's teasing you.

As far as I know, for mining purposes the ti is doing much better than 1080 non-ti. I think 1080 had some problem with the architecture of the memory that were improved on the ti version? Something like that.

Something like that. No problems whatsoever on 1080, actually I am way more pleased with my 1080 then my Ti (more stable, higher clock, cooler, more power efficient). The thing is Ti will be toe to toe with 2080 and will be better in the future. If there was a scenario when there are no launches of the 2080 (or other upgrades, if we are stuck in this current GPU technology) I would definitely go with 1080 rig instead of a Ti rig.

He is referring to the masternodes. You buy MNs for as much cheap as possible. Wait a few days to make as many coins as possible. Drop it as soon as it reach the exchanges. Profit. It's like a chain.

Hello all. Anybody try to change voltage curve on 1080 Ti ("CTRL + F" in MSI Afterburner) ? This gives something, or you can simply increase the frequency slider ?

I propose the rule: either you indicate what coin you are mining when you tell there is a profit more then 3$/day, or we focus on WTM and take it as a normal.
