can anyone share some hints on how to update NVidia drivers via RDP on Win10? Don't have any screens attached to my rigs.. even with a local display updating the drivers for 8 GPU systems takes forever -- only tried it once via RDP and seems to be stuck somewhere in the middle.. turned off the system after 1 hour...

What program is giving you that text file?  Are you using EWBF cuda or ccminer or???
I made my ow spreadsheet to track what settings based on price and power etc is most profitable at any given time but I'm thinking there are probably better options out there.

I'm pretty sure the best thing you can mine right now is Sparks on bsod.pw. I have been getting about 1 coin per day per 1080 for close to $20 per card with current btc prices.

its only 20$ per day per card if theres somewhere to sell it, does SPRks have a good exchange? lol
it had coinsmarkets but they look to be kinda dead at this point
stocks.exchange showed up about same time as coinsmarkets so i dont trust it either :/

This guy seems to be so happy mining around 42$ a day with 6 1080Ti cards using Nicehash... However the temps are like 80ºC on average   and I'm building a system with 5 Vega64 cards using WinMiner, mining less money than that but the temps are like 45ºC and power consumption around 135-140W per Vega card,   and his powerconsumption is about 1800W (can you believe that?).   I want my next GPU to be a nVidia one for mining but I wonder if that's normal for the 1080Ti or this guy is doing something wrong.  

Using nicehash probably isnt a great start

6 1080ti should be pulling 50-60$ a day @ 80% power.  $42 sounds low and temps of 80C too high

the thing is that there is something sooooooo wrong with the temps and profitability, with having external fans and so on, for basically nothing. I mean, I want a rig of 1080Ti cards but I built a 6 Vega 56 (unmodded) rig for another person and the temps are 39º-40ºC, uses LOTS of less power than that rig -which is consuming 1800W- and the Vega 56 rig is producing 55$ a day in Nicehash at those temps.     I am not exaggerating in the slightest, and have screenshots and so on. (I am also surprised 'cos it is the first day I tried Nicehash after talking to the owner about it, he was making like 1940H/s at Monero per card)

For lyra2rev2, what's the best software miner out there for the 1080ti?  I've been playing around with Alexminer, NemosMiner, and now I'm trying to see some other ones.. haven't quite gotten set up yet for lyra2 though, working on.

From what I understand from pool transaction, if they do all the payment at the same time, the cost of the transaction is divided among every miner and it become a little individual fee. If it would be "on demand" payment you would pay the normal fee.

So I presume this fee is paid by ahashpool and it must be taken in there calculation on how many btc to give you at the start so you pay for it but its hidden and little.

If I mine 0.008 BTC, they pay 0.008 BTC and I receive 0.008 BTC on my wallet, there is no fee at the transaction.
But they chose the payout time (each 24h) so my balance could go up to 0.011 BTC before their payout, they would pay 0.011 BTC and I would receive 0.011 BTC (no fee)
and there doesn't seem to have big delay with the transaction, I only got 2 payout from them but both time I got my BTC in my wallet less than 10 minute after.

To help chose, you can go to Zpool.ca
Chose the scrypt you want on the right and then chose miner at the top.

You will see what everyone use for the scrypt, so the one the most people use should technically be the best for it.

First set of 1080 ti's. Running into an issue.

Windows boots and runs perfectly. However, upon launching any mining program, I get an instant black screen crash with a reset.

I've tried all different settings. From stock to slightly OC'd. Windows settings are same as all my other rigs.
The longest I've had it run was for maybe half a day.

Thinking it's either psu issues (1200 watt titanium that I bought open box)
Risers
Drivers (using the newest)

Anybody have any thoughts or guidance? I'm was planning on doing a rebuild tomorrow anyways but wanted to see if y'all had some ideas on things I should look out for with these cards.

How is the supply of 1080ti's in your guys countries? Here in norway our biggest webshop is pretty much sold out of 1080ti with new stock not to be expected for a few weeks. Kinda crazy. Of the 28 different cards they have listed only 2 are in stock.

1080 TI used to be 700, they are now $900 USD. This is nuts.

Try remove all the drivers using DDU, then start by using only one card, and then adding one by one
