Well don't know exact prediction but I hope it will greater than the current one for sure. The volatility is not just bound to bitcoin but it is bound to Ethereum as well. People who are new comers in the world of bitcoin have seen the past where people got rich by investing into early stages of bitcoin. So now a days such thinkers will be hoping to get rich with Ethereum in the near future. To do this they will keep investing huge volumes of bitcoin and other currencies onto Ethereum making it very powerful in terms of value. This change will keep happening until we reach the price of Ethereum equal to almost 1 full bitcoin. That would be day when both of them would be just queen and king of the crypto world.

I think even the next year, the price will be aprox ~500 USD, so in 2022 it might be around 1500 USD. It is unique technology and it is definitely worth this high prices

Ethereum 5 years on....

Still PoW..... 16GB GPUs are now being used for mining and DAG bloat is still an issue.  AMD and Nividia bring the market to it's knees as they will not make 32GB GPUs open to the public, (only for their own mining farms).

Users that want to run Ethereum full nodes will need 8TB hard drives because of the size of the blockchain but, mining Burst or Maidsafe is just too profitable to make freeing up the hard drive space viable. There are  only now a small number of financial node and they are under constant ddos attack.

Some ICOs have their own ICOs and the new Jaxx  now has 5000 different coin wallet, each that generate new addresses and private keys each time you make a transaction. 3rd party key management software is needed but is constantly being hacked.

Fractional Reserve Lending comes to ETH, JP Morgan sells paper backed Ethereum derivatives and futures and local retail banks offer loans of Ethereum, (All in Ether that has not yet been mined).

This is only the beginning...

its been five years for bitcoin and there is no fractional reserve lending for BTc, and no one sells paper backed BTC.  Or am I wrong?

Weight of bitcoin, and will always shadows it.
My estimate is about 0.7 btc or at least 1000 dollars by 2022

if the project of ethereum is giving more value to the investor, i am sure that in 2022 the price of ethereum will be increase and will be stay at top ten marketcap like today. if i see now, ethereum have a big chance to be one of the best of cryptocurrency and its potential to be worth it in 2022. but all of our question will be answer in 2022 and its good for us if from now on we can make profit with ethereum.

reality?? what reality? A pullback is normal after a good run up. This thing can move 100 dollars up in a matter of days. It is no big deal

Well as I can see it, we're now in roughly $300, and it's pumping and dumping every now and then. When btc is down, eth is also down. So maybe, by 2022 when btc hits around $10000 maybe eth will also hit roughly $5000. Hope by this year end it will hit $1000. Well just my pure speculations. Let's hope for this.
