I have version 3.0.4 running from our Installer on windows 10 and has been stake mining and operating fine.  We are currently testing an updated 3.0.5 version that should be available soon.
we may want to see your debug.log or any error messages, did it install ok then get an error on running?   The shortcut should start PandaBank in classic mode since the blockchain snapshot included is classic.  It should have a commandline parameter -clientmode=full

@jommy99 where is this 3.0.4 wallet and does it work with the blockchain snapshot? it's been 24 hours I still have no wallet can someone help me the one I got from page 1 here doesn't work it crashes.

I tried something I deleted everything in roaming except the wallet.dat and now it works. this is a nightmare for a non techie like me to work.

anyway now it's not connecting. where are the instructions for the conf file is it panda.conf or Panda.conf (big p or little p or other name?

what are the nodes?

Why can't at least one coins have an easy wallet?

When I put Pandacoin.conf i get this error message (which i cna't copy/paste by the way):


Eror loading blkindex.dat

it's a pop up (not text so i cna't sleect it to show you so i was forced to retype it)

if i delete config file then i can't get connection.

i wasted 3 or 4 hours with this coin not sure if this is worth it any more i'm going to look for something elsle

why can't you dev's with all the coins you get make a push buttion thing that works?

I agree wallet installs should be easy and we are close, you should have connections as in the newer versions, there are some built in nodes and the installer also includes a Pandacoin.conf.   You can always get Active nodes from our Explorer https://chainz.cryptoid.info/pnd/#!network
click on node lists.   Pandacoin.conf is a text file that goes in your Pandacoin data folder and can have  add node statements.

the panda.conf is irelavent when i put that file the qt wallet crashes. I tried the other install it creashes to the stand alone works but not with conf file.

By the way why can't you guy put these file in every coin we are jerked by devs to do all this shit i have done it 10 times now. I'm doing your qa and you people talk like this making asumptions it's very frustrating to do this to your investors. Get your wallet to work I'm owed 3 hours of my time.

Sorry for your frustration and wasted time, it is supposed to do everything for you, and we are here to help with any trouble.  Once you try too many things it can be hard to know what you have.  It might be good if you were in our irc to make it easier to step you through any rough spots.
The Pandacoin.conf should have been made properly on install but I think you deleted it.  The easiest way to help you is to have you rename your Pandacoin data folder to something else (just as a backup). re-run the big installer you downloaded but do not start PandaBank.  Check the shortcut or tile properties and if you are not seeing it start PandaBank with -clientmode=full you need to add that command line parameter at least for the first run.

Hope this helps, If you are not sure what I mean by shortcut or tile properties and if you are not seeing it start PandaBank with -clientmode=full stop and let us talk you through that more carefully it is important.

OK pandacoin-installer-5-29-2017.exe  is installed and synching.

So I had to go to the roaming folder and wipe everything out other then wallet.dat file then restart.  Also had to disable windows firewall, defender and avast.

The process is way to complicated for a normal person and when you make a wallet take a look at Exodus it needs to work like that I didn't have to do IP or debug all the crap I had to endure last 2 days so that's my advice.

Soon as it's synched i'll move some coins over to see how that works.

ATTENTION DEV'S:

I'm sorry if you think I'm a pest but I'm a non geek investor in this coin so please bare with me. I got the coins moved from the exchange to the supper buggy wallet which I encripted. I have never got the thing fully synched. Since I'm in a hotel I have to take my laptop with me when I turned on the laptop again the Panda QT crashed, and the only way to start it again is to again whipe out the roaming folder (everything but wallet.dat file) so i'm starting from scrach right now balance is 0 i'm sure it will show coins in the morning when I wake up.

So please lets get a stable wallet going. I also have Linux if that is stable send me instructions I can try that (can i use the windows wallet.dat file on linux)?

Anyway i just want something that I dont' have to resench from scratch every time I want to send Panda's, is that to much to ask?
