Yes, Yobit and Cryptopia are the two best places to pickup some Pandacoins (PND).

It can also be found on Novaexchange but Novaexchange is changing ownership next year and no longer accepting deposits of any coins. So you can now only trade within Nova or withdraw coins back to your personal wallet or move them to other exchanges.

You can also trade Pandacoin on BX exchange if you have a Thai residency or Thai photo ID.

Hi everyone.  I'm new to PND.  I bought some PND tonight on YoBit.net and I downloaded the PandaBank for MacOS.  Problem is, when I went to deposit my PND, it still has not shown up.  I need some help troubleshooting this.

The first problem is probably that the bottom left of my PandaBank still shows "Searching for Peers".  Can you guys help me get this thing to work and help me verify that I haven't lost my PND?  I think I'm running in Hybrid client mode, but my only evidence of that is that when I click "Classic" or "Lite" I get a confirmation Y/N whether I want to switch, but when I click on "Hybrid" I get no confirmation window and nothing appears to change.

For new wallet, I highly suggest downloading and using the wallet+chain-snapshot in the first post of the thread.

What version of PandaBank were you running?  Your Pandacoins should be safe on the blockchain but you need to have your Private key safe to prove they are yours, the easiest and best way to protect your private key is to have a copy of your wallet.dat in a safe place. Start by backing up your wallet.dat, are you familiar with where your Pandacoin Data folder is?  On mac your Pandacoin data folder is in ~/Library/Application\ Support/Pandacoin. It is a good idea to always have a backup of your wallet, especially if you encounter a problem. The older version of PandaBank 3.0.2 can have difficulty with it's default hybrid mode which will probably require you to reset your blockchain and resync.  

You can do this after you have backed up your wallet.dat to be safe,  then delete all the files/sub folder in your Pandacoin data folder except wallet.dat and peers.dat and Pandacoin.conf if you have it.  You may just have trouble with finding nodes to connect too, having valid nodes in a Pandacoin.conf can help but the latest PandaBank v3.0.5.6 has built in valid nodes so a Pandacoin.conf is not required. When you restart PandaBank it will recreate the deleted files it needs and start to sync again.  If you are in Hybrid mode, it is recommended you switch to classic mode right away.  It would be helpful to have some feedback on our recent updated PandaBank for mac, please consider trying this procedure with our latest PandaBank QT 3.0.5.6 standalone for MacOS. You can download the latest here http://cryptodepot.org/downloads/    Use right click then open so you can allow it to run.

Thanks for the help.

I was running the older PandaBank version you referenced (MAC OSX High Sierra 10.13.2).  I backed up my wallet files and erased the contents of the folder, downloaded the latest version of PandaBank from the link you provided, under the mac area, unzipped the .tar, moved pandacoin-qt to my Applications folder and opened it, and it won't open successfully.  It says...

"pandacoin-qt cannot be opened because of a problem.  Check with the developer to make sure pandacoin-qt works with this version of macOS.  You may need to reinstall the application.  Be sure to install any available updates for the application and macOS.  Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple."

I click "Report" and this is a redacted version of what I see...

Thank you jdhadwin for the detailed response and your help, we do want our mac PandaBank to be as easy and up to date as our windows version.   It looks like we are not including the qrencode library properly for some reason in this latest version and will look into it right away. We need this library to work with qr codes so it is required. We should have a new update soon to try, we didn't see this problem since we have the library installed on our mac already.

If you have homebrew installed by chance, you can install the library by opening a Terminal from Applications >> Utilities
Then typing brew install qrencode

If you don't have homebrew and don't want to install it, we hope to have a better update to try asap or we can help you create a Pandacoin.conf in your Pandacoin data folder to get your older version connected and running.

If you want to try installing homebrew let us know if can help you with that. It might be best howerver to hang in there and help us by verifying the updated version once we have it ready.   Sorry for the trouble, we really appreciate your assistance!

I do use homebrew and I ran brew install qrencode, unfortunately before I got to the part in your post about maybe waiting to verify the updated version.  No worries though, I can attempt the update under the same failing conditions via my cloned bootable drive instead and let you guys know the results.
