I don't think bitcoin will be defeated or overcome by any other digital tokens that are available in the market. Bitcoin has got a better usability rather than the other assets that are given preference only for trading. Hope by the years to come things will change with the bitcoin and other altcoins, but bitcoin will stand high as the leader.

i am not agree too like you because bitcoin is the only way we can cash out from our crypto world into fiat and i think the other coin can't do this yet although i see there is many coin is offering the benefits like what bitcoin do. but we don't know what will happen in future but i am sure that bitcoin will be always a king for the other coin and there will be no other coin that can defeat bitcoin.

Indeed, I do believe that other currency couldn't surpass bitcoins because bitcoin is the only way for us to convert our money into fiat. And when the time we were a beginners bitcoin was the first introduced to us so it is more popular than other cryptocoin. They could compete with bitcoin but bitcoin will be still the origin of cryptocurrency.

Competition is good for business but ethereum is far from dethroning bitcoin because the future does not guarantee its gain in value and eth network has not been fully tested and loaded to see how well it will hold up. If only btc transactions with low low fees could not be broadcast on the network am sure this scalability problem would not have happened.

I agree because in business competition is not forever be able to last a long time. many competitors that are aligned with one of etherium eg bitcoin. But if bitcoin can maintain quality or can guarantee its accuracy may bitcoin can survive. in this case we should be able to sort out which ones can be beneficial for its users then that is what will last a long time.

This is true in the world of business but it is not true in the world of currencies, most of the time the world has a reserve currency, a currency that is recognized by the whole world and most of the time that last for a long time, decades and even centuries.

We can't be sure if the bitcoin will last forever or it will replace by another coin to become the no.1 cryptocurrency. In this world there are many possibilities, we can't predict what coin will conquer the cryptocurrency world but I know bitcoin will replace by another coin in the future.

We cannot be sure but who has the best chance of fulfilling that role at the moment? The answer is bitcoin of course, even if there are other cryptos that are useful and that have nice features no coin comes close to bitcoin in terms of acceptance by the public and merchants.

Good points, I'm not going to say that bitcoin will be replaced by other alt coins or it will be surpassed in terms of market cap, there's no way for other alts for it. Bitcoin is well known today and it's becoming more popular as most of us are trusting it already. Big companies are also treating it as the major crypto currency.

Are in live in the cryptocurrency world ?? , Because everyone knows that what is bitcoin and what are chances to crash the bitcoin and how much chances to hack the network .
Here I heard much about many other coins but thier is not stability in the price and also coins like ETH get crashed two times ( by algorithm program ) but I had never heard that bitcoin get face any problem , Only that times the bitcoin goes under maintenance when the team.of block chain made plan to upgrades .
So her in every manner bitcoin is best and also don't forget that all other altcoins have not legally declaration to use by any country but bitcoin have .

I agree with you because even countries themselves making it as legal currency. I hope there are many rumors propagating the Bitcoin split but don't know how this will work when it comes to picture. Many companies and many big investors have invested a lot of money into Bitcoin due to its credibility.

There is no doubt about it that Bitcoin will be number one forever. It is the most trusted cryptocurrency nowadays. Choosing Bitcoin to invest will be more safe than the others cryptocurrency. I’m not so sure about Bitcoin die or not but it will exists for a long time.

Things change very fast in crypto it was not long ago that ETH was very close to bitcoin in market cap and now look at the big difference it seems bitcoin is going to put even more distance, the only thing to do now is to get rid of that altcoin bitcoin cash and everything is going to be ok.

I think you came to this assumption because of recent growth in ethereum . But its in one direction its rising once it starts to fall like happened with bitcoin almost near 350 $ to 400$ last year . Could you think the same happens with ether it will survive or again it takes launch like bitcoin

If you see ethereum as the coin which will replace Bitcoin in the future i guess you see full of doubt to the development of Bitcoin. Just imagine now Bitcoin is going to split a part of its BIP91and it is just like ethereum does when it is split with two equal currency. But it is a part of development sure Bitcoin will rise just like ethereum ride do it definitely can't replace Bitcoin atvs time because as ethereum will pump it is sure the Bitcoin will also pump in the market becusde it transaction also move as Altcoin mostly depends on Bitcoin price.

Although ethereum is the next on the biggest market capitalization in the world. He can't overcome the 24 hours volume  market capitalization of bitcoin. I know that there is a time for all things but it takes too long to overtake bitcoin and if bitcoin has split, its a good decision to invest again.

No one has a mind to give a promised statement that bitcoin will no longer be number one. Everyone describes with a dilemma that it might happen as more digital currency with varied features were entering the digital currency market regularly. This might serve as a competent,  but never take the place of bitcoin.

but still bitcoin is on number one right now and i think as long as people stick with bitcoin then bitcoin will stay for long term. beside that, there is no other coins that can replace bitcoin for withdraw into fiat right now. many people still using bitcoin for exchange into their local fiat and it makes bitcoin still number one.

What about the so many and much more damaging turmoils that happen with ETH? Are you not going to count them? I think BTC will be dipping in price really after the split. But as soon as people will figure it out which between BTC and BCC is more solid and stable, that coin will be the one to rule and not ETH. But I also believe ETH to be number 2. A good spot already.

It is not just the number one because it is commonly used by people in trading. When you ask some individuals in a population about digial currencies, they'll be answering you one of them, bitcoin. They don't know any other digital currencies except bitcoin. So, when they decided to use a digital currency, they will use bitcoin and that's another reason why it is number one.
