That might be true. But I do not believe Ethereum will be able to hold their gains for long. Sooner or later the price has to go down simply because that is what markets do.

So always remind yourself not to get lost in the mania and try to stay objective. In a market like this, it is easy to think that the good days will never end.

I do think BTC will lose the top spot on the market cap sooner or later.

I think Bitcoin's main issue at the moment is the transaction fee, it was meant to be a digital currencys that allows for cheap transfer of payment but it's getting more expensive than actual fiat transfers now, unless its fixed other coins maight take over bticoin's position in the near future,

If any coin surpass bitcoin, it will not be ethereum for sure, it might be a new version of bitcoin cash though, not even this bitcoincash has the potential to pass bitcoin.

Maybe bitcoin can not be cryptocurrency. but I just think it. This seemingly pessimistic sentiment is what you hear more and more often, not only from people on the fringes on the bitcoin community but those at the heart of it. Bitcoin is not something the average person will ever use to buy and sell stuff, they say, particularly in the US and other Western countries.

Of course bitcoin can't be number one for a very long time. There are also other cryptocurrency that can be famous and have a bigger value. But as long as investors are willing to take a risk to invest their money in bitcoin, i think bitcoin will not die

For now and a few years earlier bitcoin has always been number one, but I'm sure that this will not last forever, this is because all projects are aiming to be number one.

I don't think is possible for any alt coins to overtake Bitcoins in the near future. Ethereum which you use in your analysis is currently trading at 720 usd and Bitcoins is around 14000 usd.  A percentage difference of 1844%. How can ETH catch Bitcoins and overtake Bitcoins. What factors will cause that. I doubt it.

I think you are just  only looking for its price not on its capabilities, ETH is next to the bitcoin and ETH is one of  capable altcoins that will replace bitcoin but still it will take a time a long time . ETH has a lot of characteristics  like bitcoin though their network right now is really slow so they would  really implement a fork like bitcoin but in later on the price of ETH will goes up  just be patient enough.

Bitcoin is just a trend, just like yahoo yahoo is the most sophisticated app, almost everyone who is active in cyberspace using yahoo. But after being replaced by google now yahoo is nothing, even a few months ago yahoo had acquired.

ETH has a lot of work to do this. The plus is their number. 6x as much as BTC. However, the price of the entire capital is 69kkk $. BTC 228kkk $. This is a huge difference.

Bitcoin is still going strong despite all the hard forks. It means that our community can't be easily halved. However, it looks like miners and users can't really get along together. Miners would like to introduce bigger blocks unlike users. Even though that there are many faster and cheaper alternatives, Bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency and it will stay like this for a really long time. Don't compare Bitcoin to Ethereum, they are used for different things by different people.

IMO this is healthy, we will always value bitcoin for being the one that started it all, but it's time for a more dynamic and adaptable currency to take the lead.

Jokes on you because bitcoins are still king. Kidding aside, I think if the price of bitcoins today are kept trailing and stopped from rising, I think bitcoins will eventually crash yet again and etherium would take its place as the new king. There will be another fork on the 28th because the developers of Segwit2x have revived the campaign.

2018 are coming and still bitcoins is the #1 and always. I think when bitcoins fall the other crypto would be the next... to fall also.

Yes of course, there are currently over 1100 coins and tokens and I'm sure that it will be hard to continue to be number # 1, maybe someday bitcoin will be defeated by Ethereum or Bitcoin Cash.

Perhaps in the distant future bitcoin will not be the first, but now it is only for a while that new crypto-currencies can be omitted. Still bitcoin appeared earlier and now it is stronger than the rest.

Yeah, a lot of altcoins today wants to overcome bitcoin, but until now nothing can still beat bitcoin as of today. Maybe there is a possibility that bitcoin will overcome by some other coins but for sure it will still prove itself because as we all know bitcoin was the first crypto so I think it is really hard to remove or hard to overcome by some other coins.

What we must understand right now is bitcoin marketcap reaches about 46% of all cryptocurrency, and second place of etherum is about 26%, surely it is difficult to beat bitcoin in the near future, it may take about 3 years from now to beat bitcoin but time can be short if there is anything extraordinary.
