Probably not gonna happen and now the bitcoin there is a signal that the value continue increasing, i think bitcoin will continue be the number one in crypto currency until many years to come because of his characteristic in the market.

Even ripple can beat the Bitcoin. It is up to us. But you can not change a lot of people's mind. Bitcoin is the reference coin. It is the God of blockchain. I think his lead will stay a bit longer than you think.
It will take about 50 years or more for any other cryptocurrency to eventually have the edge over Bitcoins because as they innovate more concepts to cryptocurrency the developers will also make sure that Bitcoin stays in the competition as well. |

Well, lots of things may happen and it is possible that ETH or another coin might surpass bitcoin in the future. But then, I guess it wont happen this year, the gap is really wide and we couldn't expect any coin to surpass it this year. Also, the market is depending on bitcoin price and it will be very hard for another coin to take over.

can you tell me what the problem with bitcoin is?
i thoutht for me bitcoin will be number 1 until last, because of the big profit that bitcoin can give to those users so i know bitcoin be the number ever, this business is a life changer and many businessman are investing on it thats why bitcoin is the number one crypto ive evet know. |

I think it won't be long before bitcoin will be surpassed in market cap by a competitor however I think bitcoin will always have the most value. I think the digital gold hypothesis carries weight

I strongly disagree that bitcoin may not be number one for long time. I am pretty much sure that bitcoin will be the number one in the rest of time. You know why? It is because the users of bitcoin is still growing. Many more people are willing to invest here. Many more people are encourage to do trading. Also some of the other industries are willing to in part or in line their business with bitcoin. By this aspect we can say that bitcoin is growing more and not decreasing so it will be the number one forever.

Bitcoin has got a better usability rather than the other assets that are given preference only for trading.Moreover, many companies are trying to add bitcoin into their payment system and because of that fact, the price of bitcoin and the number of people buying bitcoin keep raising every year.

Bitcoin may not be number one for long? I don't think so...I still believe that bitcoins owns the number one spot among other cryptocurrencies. Although there are ups and downs in its value in the cyrpto market , bitcoins' value is still the biggest and most trusted cryptocurrency in the entire crypto world.

I don't find any other crypto has same future of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is only one digital currency changed the technology to the next level, many new companies are planning to adopt the technology and implement their products into Blockchain technology which can give more awareness to the people.

In my own opinion still bitcoin on the top because there is no cypto same with bitcoin value and I think until how many years past no crypto can go to top except bitcoin in other words no one can replace bitcoin value.

Nobody knows whether that would happen on the grounds that the greater part of this are simply theoretical value.And we realize that ethereum is ascending nowadays yet I think it cannot outperform its value.Bitcoin is the premise of all digital money so it cannot be vanquished by other altcoin.And for me bitcoin will at present be the pioneer.

I thought for sure it would take until the end of 2018 but it looks like this summer ethereum might pass it up. With the turmoil around BTC potential splitting, it might be very soon. IMO this is healthy, we will always value bitcoin for being the one that started it all, but it's time for a more dynamic and adaptable currency to take the lead.
Whether bitcoin can be a long-term crypto currency, depends on him and his team of specialists who support him. If bitcoin is constantly improving and eliminating its shortcomings in time, then it can be the leader of crypto currency for an indefinitely long time. If problems with it occur from time to time like the current ones, then certainly, according to the laws of the market, it will be postponed by more successful digital coins. |
