What I observe about bitcoin is it is still young in the market and having big potential to grow very fast. Ups and down comes and goes we should not worry about it as nothing is constant and stable. Analyzing the future of bitcoin performance I strongly believe that Bitcoin will stay as Number One for long.

It seems like it will happen. Because of the number of coins that want to compete with bitcoin. But it will be difficult to replace the number one bitcoin. That would be so hard i'm sure.

Nothing seems a problem with bitcoin, right now ethereum has made a big growth. This makes people think that bitcoin might go down in value. But the reality is that more the growth experienced, more will be the competence and based on this always bitcoin stands first

I thought for sure it would take until the end of 2018 but it looks like this summer ethereum might pass it up. With the turmoil around BTC potential splitting, it might be very soon. IMO this is healthy, we will always value bitcoin for being the one that started it all, but it's time for a more dynamic and adaptable currency to take the lead.
We can never really tell what will be the future of all this digital currencies in the market, but what is important is they are being competitive in the market. That will help this technology to flourish even more and catch the interest of the consuming public. It will definitely benefits us even more if the competition between this contenders become more intense. So, it does not really matter who is going to be the toughest of them all. |

bitcoin is number one not only because of it being introduced earlier than all the other currencies , but due to its potential . it has gained the trust of people almost all over the world and i think its diffcult for any other currency to achieve taht to achirve that . it has successfully overcome lots of obstacles it has faced either due to govern,emts and banks or gredy miners itslf . ethereum, monero, Zcash which were once expected very much are not able to replace it. Bitcoin has given people a new means of earning option, cheap way of transcting , secured investment, free from government hands and i think that it would be hard fot any other single altcoin do deliver such huge number of features.

Perhaps in the distant future bitcoin will not be the first But now it is only for a while that new crypto-currencies can be omitted. Still bitcoin appeared earlier and now it is stronger than the rest. |

Yeah bitcoin would still be number one of all crypto currency because of its characteristics and popularity no other currencies that has a popularity that almost known world wide it would take some times before etherium could equalized bitcoin because etherium is only a token not a currency. |

btc has potential to grow in worth. but may be decrease in the dominance. as u said may be it will not be no 1 cos of new coins and token is coming in so it also affect the dominance if the bitcoin.

I don't see any coin close to bitcoin, there's none in price and value that could hope to beat bitcoin. Bitcoin will always be the number on coin no matter what, the price of other coins depends on the price of bitcoin.

Bitcoin may not be number one for long? I think Bitcoin will still have a one for long years because bitcoin is the biggest among the tokens in coinmarket even in the ethereum they will not pass not because the increasing of numbers in bitcoin many investors are really buy the bitcoin and sell to the other market.

We cannot all predict what would really happen on bitcoin sooner or later. A lot of threats are arising nowadays such as new cryptocurrencies that are showing up their potential on dethroning bitcoin. The best thing to do right now is to start investing on other cryptocurrencies so that if ever bitcoin fell down, we still have a source of income. Having that idea doesn't mean you should stop supporting bitcoin instead we should have faith and keep our hopes high on it. |

But for me, I think that people have nothing to worry about for at least 20+ years when it comes to bitcoins. Because even with the great number of altcoins out there that are obviously better than bitcoins, I can tell that I will not be able to reach a time when bitcoin gets replaced by other altcoins out there and become more superior than bitcoin. I say this because the way I see it, in the crypto world, the thing that matters most is how a coin rose up and became more superior than the other rather than its specs. In short, bitcoin will always have the upper hand. But hey, who am I to say so? Oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see then. |

Bitcoin may be replaced by an altcoin is unthinkable and impossible, tell me how much does support does ethereum has compared to bitcoin with it's current market cap $45,201,034,552 while ethereum is still ligth years away from btc. In terms in dominance i could say that bitcoin has many users, traders, investors and also it is widely use as a paymeth method in both local and online businesses, other goods and services can be paid in bitcoin, another thing is that bitcoin can actually be converted into real money while ethereum has none of it.
