I think BTC has the potential to make fiat disappear, but that wont happen in our lifetime. Mass adoption is required first. You need to be able to go to Burger King OR ANY OTHER RETAILER and pay with BTC
But I do not understand why to test do you destroy real money? I think that the economy and financial market can perfectly exist with both bitcoins and real money.

What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ? yes, there are, but this truth can not happen in a short time because coins fees are now so much, not suitable for micro payments so that when people (coder) make another coins that can lowen its transactions fees or may be no fee for each transactions, that day is the day when money no longer exist on the Earth

Nope, cryptocurrency will not make real money disappear because government will not allow that and nothing can replace the real money because they are connected to the government and government are making money and the particular country is stable in all aspects because of its real money and cryptocurrencies cannot really replace their responsibility. Cryptocurrency is such a helper for me.

What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ? Of course it can't replace real money. In life sometimes we need to exchange those small valuables but if you use cryptocurrency, it is very detrimental, if there is no internet?, free over all value we need to swap?

What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ? The chances of living in a world using cryptocurrency, replacing fiat money is less than 1% after all, sending bitcoin and other crypto currencies require internet to be sent to others' wallet. The whole world cannot use cryptocurrency to replace money unless all part of the world is connected on the internet with speed decent enough to send transactions. Also, governments would not let it happen easily.

My expectation is that it can become more mainstream, with credit/debit cards being coupled to your Bitcoin wallet. That would enable payment in practically any location, but it will never replace physical cash.

What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ? There is no chance with that to happen. Crypto currency is not valuable without the actual money we have now which is fiat. Another reason, bitcoin can't be used for offline transaction such as buying a car, buying a house, buying and etc. which needs legal papers and deed of sale.

Crypto will not make real money disappear because crypto currency can only be access with an internet connection, what will happen to those people who doesn't have internet connection? how can they buy food if there no real money at hand. They will all starve to death, thus that is the main reason for me why crypto currency will not make real money disappear but i believe real money can make cryptocurrency disappear in the future.

And I think that will be impossible too because the bitcoin need gadget and internet to access with so with that situation not all of the people have that needs to use the cryptocurrency so fiat will be the only one that can be used in the real world and there is no chance that cryptocurrency will replace it.

Cryptocurrency is something that has the virtual presence and no physical form. This makes the cryptocurrency in limited accessing as well limited usability. As the adoption is increasing the usage of bitcoin similar to real money has increased a lot, for the same I don't think bitcoin will replace real money.

It would be impossible that real money will disappear. I do not doubt the capacity of bitcoin but since it depends on technology and technology depends on electricity, we are not certain that it could be possible. What if calamities like typhoons earthquake and the like would cause the absence of electricity for quite a period of time, if there would be no paper money then we will all get hungry. Maybe money will be still the currency then next is bitcoin.

That is very impossible. Cryptocurrency can't surpass the real money. We know bitcoin is now popular and more powerful nowadays. But the power of the bitcoin is not enough to make the real money disappear.

It is very low for now as the different countries still use fiat money.Bitcoin is still not legalized in all countries so the chances are very low for now.But as the technology rises the cryptocurrency is also introduced to many nations and it causes the bitcoin to be popular.Maybe someday as the materials decrease for making fiat money, the bitcoin will overcome it.

Yes i think cryptocurrency can make real money disappear because we are facing a lot of problems with our current real money and most of the cryptocurrencies now are just focusing to solve all the problems in fiat so that is why they have a high chance to make real money disappear but it will take a lot of time but it is sure that it's worth to wait.

For now I think the digital currency has not been able to eliminate real money. Maybe in the next few years this can happen, with the advancement of technology is increasing then the needs of people will cryptocurrency is increasing. This can make everyone switch to using cryptocurrency. And in the end everyone in the world at that time no longer use real money as a means of financial exchange.

What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ? I doubt so since fiats are still better to use in daily transactions because it is far more stable and very handy bur if we say that there will be a national digital currency where government can manage to make it stbilize and distribute to its citizens and make use of the blockchain technology then that would be extremely great.

I think they will need each other in order to succeed. I don't wish for cryptocurrencies to replace fiats but the two can coexist in a good sense for the advancement of our daily lives without unhealthy competition.

The idea like this for all countries will be divided into three parts:
1st world countries - there is no doubt that there is a 95% chance on implementing this, because for one they have all the potential to do so. Less financial needs, and well-growth countries. I didn't say it will be 100% because although as mentioned they have the potential, not all countries in this section will be accepting BTC, some countries have already banned it.
2nd world countries - there will be a 55% chance on implementing this, because there are two reasons, one is that not all countries in this section has the potential to do so, and two is although they are covered as the 2nd there will always be those countries that are listed at bottom, meaning they have the title but considered as 3rd world countries.
3rd world countries - I would like to say 0% - 15% chance on implementing this, because not only they do not have the potential at all, they will always have far far more major problems than having BTC replacing fiat.

The chances that cryptocurrency will rule the world without fiat is slimmer that a mosquito. This isn't going to happen. There's no way cryptos will replace tangible money completely. For me, cryptos are actually not fiat. They're just a store of value like every other assets and that's why they either rise or fall in value.
