All the coins had a good debut though there are too many altcoins in this modern era. We can say if any coin starts that's way and give the demanding benefit and facilities to the people then that coin has a successful future through no coin have started that's way with great success even bitcoin also didn't start with as much popularity as now that have got.
Peoples are showing their reaction positively for ethereum because it is a beautiful altcoin and it is so much necessity keep going online trading because of different type of people like different type of altcoins.

I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.
What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?
I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.
If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.
without altcoin bitcoin price will never go this huge,having no competition thats why alt is here to protect the bitcoins price. And if you might not know most of the crypto millionares got their funds in icos,so we must respect altcoins privacy, |

Yes altcoins has a future,Long term altcoins like ethereum LTC Doge Monero etc. Potential to have a future but I don't think the short term Altcoins has a future.

When compared to bitcoin, I doubt altcoin will achieve the same thing with bitcoin, especially with the number of new crypto emerging it will be very difficult altcoin to stand out and even then if no other crypto emerge, if yes it will be more difficult but eterium and lite coins have hope for even better, although crypto coin plays an important role in today's economy as well as the bitcoin that lies ahead of the other crypto

It depends if which Altcoin because some of these have a future and some are not. If the token will be successful I am sure it will have a better value and investors gain more profit. It's an advantage for us to get more income. For now, Ethereum is increasing day by day. For me, It is a long term investment like bitcoin.

Yes, indeed, and I believe that altcoin has a chance to survive in the future, one of them is ETH - this is the best alcottage that I know. In the near future Ethereum has great potential for growth.

Most of altcoins are just brands without any property of something and they are just for exchange. These will be disappear soon for rest they will try to survive.

In reality I think the question should be reversed.. Alts will continue to rise based on function.. What is the function of Bitcoin, besides 'store of value' which I think we will realize is a quite silly function.. There are MANY better ways and places to store value..

I think many of the altcoins will have no future and they will be just memories. But I have good expectations from the ethereum. I hope to see that its price will reach really high amounts like bitcoin's price.

I think this is not too much of a concern because now the etherium itself is getting close to very high value and this also seems to me as one proof that the etherium can be invested in the long term.

Yes they do have a future as long as they provide real cases for use other than speculating on. The reason most old altcoins are dying or are only used for pump and dump is because they are essentially useless other than that. That is why you see real projects coming out now with use case because if they don't have it you would have 2k cryptos that are all pump and dumps. This won't be the case in the future imo.

Most of the altcoins won't have future, since they're intended to fill someone else pockets. They are a target for pump and dumps but there are some real use cases out there. Some of them do provide value to the cryptocurrencies. Best example for altcoins is Ethereum and ripple, but in the end they all serve the purpose to make more bitcoin. Some coins is not up to the mark, they come in and go out without managing to sustain in crypto world.

only altcoin with great tech behind them will survive, now we can see overload of coin, most of them will die in future, but there are good unknown coins out there. I personally believe in this fairly unknown coin. (ITNS) intense coin. This is not an ICO, and recently it got a lot of attention and it rose in price, yet is still cheap coin with low coin cap. It is a privacy coin, devs are working on decentralized VPN based on ITNS blockchain. This coin is very young, it launched around 5 months ago, listed only in stocks.exchange, after more listings it will go up much more.
