I'm going to add a temporary exception and see if it gathers some new data that will let it through when I reactivate MBAM.

Edit: Now I'm just getting error loading blkindex.dat. Maybe that will prove helpful to someone that may understand what's up.

What version are you running? I upgraded to v1.2 and I got that same error, so I just restored v1.1 and it went back to normal.

The latest version but the funny thing is blkindex.dat isn't in the %AppData%/DeepOnion directory. I'm picking apart the .exe file now to see if it lives in there.

Edit: that was a no go. It's a Windows Portable Executable which I have no clue how to turn into anything meaningful. The only thing worthy of note was the version file which shows I am indeed on 1.2.0:

Okay solved it. Deleted everything in my %AppData%\DeepOnion directory except my wallet and config file. Resyncing now without issue and showing balance.

Also find it interesting this project first kicked off in 2014. That's quite a while ago. Didn't realize it's that old.
