I've been a user of Coinpot for 3 years now with no issue, but I guess I suddenly violated terms of service now. RIP about $500. By the way, their support inbox is full, but they never respond even on a good day.

Got my last payment a few hours ago. I dont think they would exit scam ppl here.
Looks more like that they collect some withdrawal requests and processing them once or twice a week.

Pro tip: I would not wait too long with the request, if I still have credit on coinpot.

if i submitted my withdrawal request 2 weeks ago and haven't received my btc yet, i wouldn't expect anyone who submitted a btc request later than me to have any chance of getting their coins.

Some people are getting their money. I lost everything when they suddenly claimed I was violating TOS at the last minute, and I'm far from the only one. From what I've heard though, they only ban transactions and not accounts. I have heard but cannot verify that it is safer to do multiple small withdrawals than a single large withdrawals, because then some might go through.

I just requested my last withdrawal from Coinpot. Almost 500 DOGE. Let's see how much time this time it will take to get it paid.

Yep as soon as I tried to withdraw my converted doge to BCH, they cancelled my transaction and said I had violated the TOS, how? Tried to contact them, mailbox full.... great! Then went back to my account to see if the cancelled withdrawal was refunded...NOPE, they had just taken all my earnings and emptied my account.

I've been using coinpot for quite time, I registered in 2017 and used it from time to time. When I saw the message, they will close, I tried to withdraw my coins. But to my surprise, all of my withdrawals were cancelled, as it states, I had viloated terms. I am no aware of any violation at all, so for me, after 3,5 years it is clear scam. Tried to get in touch with support, but no go, returned message, mailbox is full.
Shame it ended up like this, sayonara coinpot.

so based on these, coinpot is running an exit scam now?

Not sure what you guys are talking about, on jan 30 I converted almost 1000 doge to btc, converted all other coins to btc as well and requested the btc withdraw, haven't gotten it yet, but status says pending, so I'm quite sure I'll get it.

if so then its the weirdest exit scam i ever saw!
they paid all my final withdrawals in the last few days. and you can tell from the payout links on this page that they are paying thousands of USD worth of crypto almost every day...

https://coinpot.co/news

they have a backlog which they appear to be working through in daily/semi-daily batches
and judging by some other posts, of course they are still banning scammers and cheats that are desperately trying to steal from everyone

How do you explain, that every day more and more people are ending with suspended accounts and payments won't be processed,

That just MIGHT be, because well over 90% of all faucet users either have multiple accounts or use a VPN or try other ways of cheating.
It's a known fact that NOBODY screams louder than a screwed cheater.
Rest assured for ever single user claiming there would be a scam here, there are 100s if not 1000s who get their money, those just never see a reason to write anything in a forum like this one.

There will certainly be a few users where the automated system at Coinpot generates a false positive, who then due to lack of support won't get their money, but that's a tiny minority relative to the vast amount of users who either really cheated or get paid without problems.

So marking me as a screaming cheater is questionable, and I am pretty sure there are many more people in the same situation.

I'm not marking you as a screaming cheater, I don't know you, so I cannot tell whether what you say is true or not.
You may judge yourself, whether you belong to the cheaters or to the unfortunate handful of false positives the automated system generates, for me both of these are equally possible.
In the overall picture of ALL users making claims of scam here, I'm certain there will be a majority of actual cheaters, but I would never point to an individual user I don't know in person.

Coinpot faucets already have a system for detecting if you are using a VPN, and it won't let you claim if it detects it. And strictly speaking, Coinpot says it has the right to take your funds if you violate the Terms of Service, but using a VPN is not against the Terms of Service. Yes I realize that using a VPN is a common way to have multiple accounts, but I'm strictly speaking of whether they have a right to confiscate your funds for using a VPN. And plenty of people are claiming they never used a VPN anyway and still had their account suspended.

While yes, the number of people withdrawing at once will lead to an increase to people having transactions cancelled and complaining about it, this is a massive, massive spike. I've withdrawn money plenty of times with no issue, and nothing really changed regarding my behaviors. Does that necessarily mean the owner is intentionally scamming people? Not necessarily. But considering the number of times that Coinpot went down or had other issues, the idea that their fraud detection systems were poorly coded is not that farfetched. I'm sure many people who were scamming the system got away with it too. And right now, it's basically up to Coinpot whether you get your money or they take it all, and you have no knowledge on if they will and no recourse if they do.

Have those users considered that CoinPot could also punish people that used apps to bypass its ads or those autoclaimers?

Even if they could claim with those ads on desktop, doing the opposite on mobile is also detectable.

What if someone's your coinpot.co e-mail and login the faucets with VPN? Could an external actor who knows your e-mail connect with VPN and simulate the true owner is cheating? Think about it ;-)

Of course, think about claiming faucets in a hotel or sth with public WiFi.

In my opinion coinpot.co has nothing to assure its systems against cheaters or multiple accounts, and of course has not anybody as red or blue team.

A possible running exit-scam consists in:

- 1. Start (unsustainable) "VIP Rewards"
- 2. People deposits BTC to convert to tokens and earn % in "VIP Rewards".
- 3. Before December 2020, BTC-token conversion brings you for example 1000 tokens for X BTC.
- 4. BTC value explodes and now January-February 2021, coinpot.co ends: you have to convert-back your tokens to BTC but the conversion is 4 times worse than you made before December 2020.
- Result: People investing coinpot.co "VIP Rewards" earned % in a way but lost much more in other way.

I'm not saying coinpot.co is acting as these points say, but I think I am not the only who knows this way.

My latest withdrawals were received without problems but I think there is lot of people waiting till last day trying to see crypto values decrease to get more cents (and coinpot.co knows it).

I just requested my last withdrawal from Coinpot. Almost 500 DOGE. Let's see how much time this time it will take to get it paid.

Same here! Converted all my other coins and coinpot tokens to DOGE and asked a withdrawal of around 100 DOGE two days ago. Could probably take a while as everybody is asking payments right now.

BIG WINNER!

they are literally processing thousands of dollars of btc withdrawals each day - 0.68673224 btc paid today ($25k+) https://coinpot.co/payouts/bitcoincore
you are just in the backlog unfortunately, but im sure you will receive it eventually, like everyone else

thats because previously there werent 100 x as many users all trying to withdraw at the same time - this is what has caused the backlog
they said they are continuing to process withdrawals and clear the backlog up to the end of february - and there is plenty of evidence (https://coinpot.co/payouts/bitcoincore) that they are keeping to this promise

but i'll take your withdrawal if you have given up on it  Grin
