In the meantime, please remove the ANNOUNCEMENT and FORK Q&A from Community website. These hard-forks seldom go well (as you probably know). And investors have stayed away. No need to keep the guillotine hanging...

I have sent support requests to PH and have messaged Coinsprofits

I went return to the old version of NewYorkCoin:

http://nyc.mypool.club/

The old version of the wallet does not use any nodes with version 1.3

At the moment that is not a concern. We just need to get the network running smoothly again. We think we have identified the root cause of the issue and will be testing it over the next month. This will not happen again.

Once we have discussed things in full we will post an update on what happens next. For now, lets just get the ship corrected and continue to move forward.

The NYC network is so resilient that all damage caused by flawed 1.3 code will immediately work itself out. My missing unconfirmed sends hanging on Coinomi for 3-4 days will now magically confirm. The NYC network is time-tested and proven!

Upon extensive, lengthy beta-testing AND UNDER THOSE CONDITIONS ONLY should a fork be considered. 2Q/3Q 2019? I guess it depends when we have fully working codebase. Then we will need lengthy testing and review. And finally implementation.

Blockchain is an amazing technology.

And NYC is an amazing blockchain crypto.

yup... The NewYorkCoin Centre in NYC has proven that it doesn't need improvement!

How is your café doing btw? Where's the free ride you promised?

About
Test before implement. That "atrocious" code has worked flawlessly for 4+ years. No hacks. Confirms every 30 seconds. Yobit (top 35 exchange) added old code. Coinomi (#1 rated alt-coin wallet) added old code. Everything works and has worked flawlessly. Just more difficult to mine these days...

Of course... nobody was using it until end 2017. What could go wrong?

Edit: sorry... your answer is going to be: the early miners!

very little. 1000 nyc/day.
for mining NYC you need to use a ASIC script, for example antminer l3++. This ASIC shows better profitability when mining NYC compared to other coins!!!

One of the most important specs is missing, from the website History page, the website Specs page, the ANN, the Macy's Day parade page, etc etc etc.  Why is it hidden?

What is the max supply, if there is one?

I even searched "max" and "supply" in this thread and there isn't anything.

Edit: Good L*ord it's in a picture.  For Pete's sake, put it in the right spot.  On ANN page.  On the website Specs page.  On the website  History page.  Not on a picture...

https://newyorkcoin.net/img/100Billion.png

Spent all this time reading and searching.  Don't penalize those who do actual research before asking questions-- put the info out there.  It's not on CMC, but I realize that is out of your control.  Your media pages ARE in your control: update them accordingly.

For anyone else searching, this picture says max supply of NYC is 100 Billion.

NYC has a very similar coin structure to DOGE. Originally was intended to cap at 100B but has since exceeded that cap and is now technically Unlimited Supply.

Disagree. We have almost 2 months before the scheduled fork height. Plenty of time to get things sorted.

Also can you please remove your posts about the fork being cancelled. You did not discuss that with the dev team at all and it's likely causing some FUD.

Yes agreed, there is lots of time to address any issues.
Glad to see the NYC Dev team moving ahead with the fork!

Coinezi (launching next 2 weeks) will ensure existing chain lives on long enough to fully test hard-fork code. And communicate with existing wallets and any exchanges/wallets/etc that don't immediately switch over when/if Dev Team decides to implement hard-fork. The Guardian of NYC must continue to fulfill the role...
