Yeah what happened with that exchange was this.... Another community member was the 1 who actually got nyc listed on that exchange and in filling out the listing form he gave his own personal information as the main source of contact! He was another that got upset with the community because they didn’t support his high priced marked up nyc that he was selling to users via PayPal, he then proceeded to call community members and devs scammers and said they stole the recovered funds from the 51% attack that graviex has held on to on behalf on the community to keep things transparent (that’s the same funds being used to pay devs that complete stuff of the dev bounties to this date!) this is publicly posted! When ALTmarket tried to contact Devs as they were doing some updates they needed nyc dev to update some stuff on their end also but what they didn’t k ow was they weren’t contacting the devs they were contacting him and he being bad minded ignored their request and never let the devs know they were trying to reach out. The only thing left for ALTM to do was assume it was a dead coin and delist it! That’s why you always give these exchanges the accurate contact information and don’t use personal info just because you were the 1 that got the coin listed on The exchange to begin with.

I laugh a little bit every time I realize that the low level mail room helpers are the ones who are trusted and have the ability to make executive decisions and changes regarding NYC, while the pioneer and guardian moves around the country trying to find a steady job to support his family, all while having absolutely zero say about what goes on with NYC. I would probably be writing in all caps red font if I was demoted to useless bitch by the group of volunteers behind the project.

It boils down to CK being mad that he paid for Yobit listing initially, which he openly admits to, and having such a large bag stuck on there that he can't move, which he has also proven with screenshots. Should we post those? He is likely trying to recoup the listing fee and sell off the locked bag because of his financial situation. He opened the NYC Center, closed it down, moved out of state, got a new job, and moved again to Canada or some shit. His only angle at recouping those losses is to get people to buy his locked NYC on Yobit. He's about as stable as Jack Nicholson in The Shining. The profits he made during the 2017 bull run were only enough to pay rent at the NYC Center for 6 months, probably should have done the sound money thing instead of pissing it away on a stoop that people to this day still laugh at.

He complains about outdated things on the community website when his website has blatant lies on the front page like "Active development team." Need I remind you of how you truly feel about the development team? No bites to get work done on the code via bounties from inside or outside of the team? How is that active? There is nothing Original about the NEW YORK COIN (NYC) blockchain, it's a clone of a clone(rabbit coin) of a clone(dogecoin) of a clone(litecoin) that was recently re-cloned from a later version of dogecoin.  It has some minor tweaks to block timing, rewards and fees.

There are many other clones with faster blocktimes and fees so small that there is almost no practical difference between fee or no fee, several of which have been around as long or longer than NYC.

Despite your dead weight and the constant drama you inflict on everyone, there are still people working to improve the technology and fulfill the promise of turning this pedestrian coin into a viable merchant solution and not just your private pump-and-dump/get-rich-quick scheme.  To me that is the most interesting thing about this coin, that there are still dedicated contributors doing the real work to build a community and the necessary infrastructure.
