Ethereum has a much larger developer community but Waves can still be successful. Most altcoins are building on Eth.

Ethereum is a strong platform supporting several tokens. It will really take time before waves can overtake ether.considering the fact several ICO's and projects are been launched with ethereum smart contracts.
waves is currently also working on developing smart contracts

It might  catch up with Ethereum and will  be a very serious competitor.

İt is too early to say ethereum better than waves, waves developer working hard. Ethereum current advantages : Smart contracts, good projects going on ethereum and high volume on exchanges.
Waves advantages: with ng waves chain will be faster than eth. Decentralized exchange and for now usd, euro , try gateway money backend full not like tether Smiley  İssue token simple you don't have to know solidity.

For future: Ethereum chain taking many attacks due to smart contracts and scalability problem. Fee will be high like bitcoin it is risky for platform which have many token on chain working on.
Waves: Will be speed, non-turing smart contracts, decentralized voting system, liquidty program most important one is working with deloitte for regulation. No more stupid and scam projects ico. Waves will have many fiat currency gateway in future and you don't have to use banks to send money or to save it.
I am agree both of devs are open mind.

On this same post I gave my opinion saying that at that time between the two of them the best was definitely ethereum because of its popularity and reliability even if occasionally problems. Now, after all the latest waves developments and the future release of NG I have to say that I can not wait to see more ico on its blockchain. Proud to be part of it

I think waves is where etherium was during may june. I absolutely think that we will see Waves in three digits by the end of q2 next year. If I had any more bitcoins, i would be buying tons of waves now.

Does any one thinks that Ethereum can survive with the rising of Waves? I've heard that "Waves will be the next Ethereum"
Waves is still young project if you can compare it with ethereum. Ethereum is the second largest contender in the cryptocurrency market after bitcoin. You guys have a long way to go.

Obviously!
Waves is the better coin right now than ethereum, but it`s only starting right now, and this may be only temporary.
And I feel like the better investment right now is in ethereum.
Though the waves is sucking up a lot of investor interest right now, it is only a part of what makes ethereum a strong investment.

Waves will not be the next technological revolution to follow Ethereum, but it is a tool with the potential to be widely adopted by users, since it provides a simple but useful service.

Right now, I think, things are good for me. But Waves much better than Ethereum and the market showed steady but slow signs of renewal.
Ethereum is now showing signs of weakness as more people put their budget to be invested (on other altcoins) to gain higher profits.

Yes, Waves!. I know and believe it`s the current best estimate.
However, ethereum is my best choice, and ethereum was the best of other altcoins for a long time, because, ethereum has a wide market.

I am still on the side of ethereum, because I believe the price of ethereum will still continue to increase, the increase in price is now just the beginning for warming up in the price increase of ethereum, although many say waves are ethereum successors but ethereum is the bitcoin successor, so ethereum will be much better than waves.

Both is nice these days and waves has been wake up for a long time and ofcourse the goodnews about its development in their project had a good effect of spike in its price.

No way for waves to outperform etherium. I didnt heard anything like that. Etherium is established its own network and there are so many coins based on eitherium.

Ethereum was below 10$, I remember those times. Waves is now in a similar situation. It's price around $10-15 and the potential rise in waves will shift its price up to $150 at least. But ethereum would reach $2,000 at that time.

It’s really hard to compare these two coins. I don’t think waves can pass ethereum in terms of value but they are two of my favorite coins so very hard decision to make for me.

I do not think that waves can defeat the etherium. Now the ether is gaining more popularity thanks to the ICO. But waves also develop. I think they both will exist, but the ethereum will be stronger.
