Of course its still promising to invest in ICO and people have made huge profits by investing in it but you need to make sure that you have invested in right project and not in the scam one and that is possible only after doing good research.
The project gotta be real in order for the participants to get paid. Many people join campaigns and receive nothing.

I think that you just need  carefully select projects. There are many tips and criteria  which you need to navigate.
I will share one, found it among the Iconiq Lab startup projects, it's name Vreo.io, here is their link at bitcointalk https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2886707. They they embed advertising in the gameplay, you should see a promo video on their website
Mainsite: vreo.io
ICO Campaign: ico.vreo.io

I agree that 75% of ICO is scam, but there are promising projects worthy of attention.
There are some that are legit and most are only scams. That's why there are investors that are skeptic with the other projects because they became victims of those scams. And for those that are still thinking on what are some of these ICO's that are worthy of attention. I would like to suggest VLB, it has a very responsive set of support and as well as they are active in promoting their ICO. And the last news I've got is that one of their staff attended a conference on Japan.

Now is the best time to invest, because the price of the ETH is low. For cheap air you can buy cheap tokens. I do not think it will cost so little for long.

if you now invest eth in ico then when eth returns to its course and it grows then hardcap will increase rapidly, it's profitable

I have gained 300% profit from various ICO projects that I follow, there are some who scam because of lack of Investor but that did not frighten me as long as the team, the concept and manager of Bounty is clear and professional.

So many ICO in recent time are scam project though some of them may have a promising campaign and all of that but the their tokens are listed on an exchange only then you will see that it is a shit coins as so many people will dump the token and at the end those that invest huge money expecting profit will be the once to surfers the los.

After entering the stock market, there is a short-term increase in the price of ICO-tokens, and then the cost of most of them falls below the level of the initial sale. Quick profits are received only by investors at the pre-sale stage, who bought tokens at a special discount.

Therefore now it is not necessary to hurry with investments, if we did not have time for pre-sale. Tokens of promising projects can be taken long after the completion of the sale and entry to the stock exchange is cheaper than during the main round of the ICO.

Not in this market. It is very low and I haven't heard of an ICO that came up doing as many gains recently. ICO projects are not bringing up what they said they will and their timelines have changed due to the bear market. The future of ICO is hard to tell now and projects will have to already be back and not just ideas anymore.

I am a person that gains profit from investing in ICOs but now I'm having second thoughts. I know some ICOs are potential scam so I am really picky to where I put my money.
Anyway, considering with what happened to Ethereum price and with the nearing Aigist 1, do you guys think that it will still be profitable to invest on ICOs mostly on ERC20 tokens and those accepting btc payments?

Will,in my own thought i still believe that there some few of them ICO still producing a good project to become profitable in doing there own way to make there product become marketable and usefullness, especially those some  platform developer  who accept mostly in ERC20  and bitcoin payments, just like other ICO before.actually we  already know some of ICO project   now coming  is doing only scam or fraud  to this community, but not at all time, because maybe this coming few months they could not penetrate to deceived people in this community due to some regulation happen in the cryptoworld like this ban in googles, and twitter,so because of this they could not advertise there own products.

I believe that investing in ICO is still very promising and most profitable options that exists today. But you need to analyze whether the team can run it, or stop in the middle of the road. If you will make good decision it will be promising. But it is not just about investing into ICO, it is about finding a promising project with the right team that you can be sure will make your investment worth it.

yes they do profitable if a project is scam or something like that. I am not highly support ICO but I have to say that people always earn good money with ICO. Anyhow, I just want to say that you need to determine which ICO is good and which is made to steal people money so that you will not fall into their trap
Actually, I also think that investing in ICO is promising only if you choose the correct cryptocurrency.

Investing in ICO is still very profitable and promising especially when you have chosen a project that has the potential to meet expectations and satisfy his potential customers with a product that is actually being required in market and if the development team behind this project enough experienced then you should full trust it and go ahead to invest because your choice is excellent to choose unique project. In this you can get profit in long term.

I believe that it's profitable to invest to some ERC20 token because some of them have a potential coin or project. Just research first before we invest so we know that we get back what we invest. It's up you because we have different choices and thought the important is always do research before you invest in one project .

Don't invest in any ICO if you feel that the price is way too pricey. If the coin is not going to make you any money and it is not useful then don't invest in it.

There are promising ICOs and there are unsuccessful and fraudulent ones. If you are able to invest on the real ones then chances are high that you will get profit. So the answer in this question is not really simply a yes or a no because it is based on case to case scenario.

ICO will remain a promotional medium. indeed today many ICO's are scam. But not all projects. investors really are investors who are ready about the profit and loss. Everything has been taken into account. even the losses to be borne have been prepared. so it does not affect their finances.
