Despite of having a price of $1.50+ and having a limited supply(About half as much as BTC), why isn't this coin much popular among the community? I mean, look at those pump and dump coins like doge, coinye, etc.

I do wonder peeps.. i seem to have really bad luck mining solo since the update I'm on 8.5.3.. and yeah it can be bad luck i gues and somewhat low difficulty.. but even high than this.. I'm not seeing any frankos or stales, I mined for 4 hours the other day.. should be getting 1 frank an hour.. but nothing.. not even a stale... trying again today cause i need more frankos and have little btc to buy with.

hopefully luck wil change, just wondering if anyone else experienced a change in solo luck since the update.

and is there anything better to look at than the guiminer console for info.. like debug console commands or anything?

and the verison in help says 8.4.1 while the screen splash claims it is the new one.

Yes memes comes and go . This one is for the long ride . Like Bitcoin took a long time for adoption , not to speak about litecoin not to remember that few months ago was 2$ .

The developer said that is caused by gitian and well be fixed on the next update. If you build from the source it says 0.8.5.3

A lot of new coins are added nowadays.Anyway they may be interesting for a short term investment. But I'm sure that for a long term perspective, most of them will be useless. Franko is a fair, and very good coin. Franko is still there, and has a high potential.
