difficulty wont go more then 50 mil so it will be 3.5 usd day without electricity  at least i will be making that amount  free electricity for me but other folks who have to pay for electricity they will be screwed some even wont get any revenue It will mathematically impossible for the Dash network to reach "50 M ". At some point waaaay south of that difficulty, a LOT of people that over paid for D3 Servers and are overpaying for Kwh, will be forced off the network because they will be mining at a loss. It's a game of attrition now. The same has happened in BTC and will happen in ALL crypto POW protocols. It's the nature of the beast. Man this hysteria is getting.....well......Hysterical. Difficulty now is 51.9M  What can you say now?  |

it is mocking our D3 purchases with false hope....part of the firmware..bitmain is evil that Voodoo for Dummies book and the 5 gallon pail of ACME Chicken Entrails they used to put their spell over us ..really paid off for Bitmain! maybe no one wants to sell dash at this price with this difficulty? |

why do you think 50 mil is aMAX ? because of quantity they sold, and after last batch which was 1 month ago there was no other batch and it seems they wont sell anymore so far. approximately 100k units was sold it will give around 45mil difficulty + other company miners that will give us 50 mil +- 2 mil it doent make sense to produce additional units to sell, unless something changes in good way they made max quantity wish some profit possible and screwed other manufacturers pretty sure release of D3 was aimed to kill competition 50 mil is max for now at least for 3-4 months thing is quantity they sold will give us that difficulty +with other manufacturers, also folks who have higher electricity cost wont use it so it will be around 50 mil and yes only hope is dash price, but we all must contribute to it |

Actually, Difficulty values are extracted in real time from the real blocks. Here at this thread, someone posted a link where you can see the info for each DASH block mined https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/I found that block number #766695 had difficulty: 54551996.519038 You can see at this link https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/block.dws?766695.htmBut, anyway, even i think that this are temporary values that go way within minutes. Normally we should refer to 24 hour average values. and that value is around 28.7 million... I admit, its not good...but at least its not 50 million... Lets hope for the good to happen in the coming weeks, after last D3-s will be delivered and put to work.... |

Coniwartz showed earlier today 52mln. Now it retraced to 32mln. Nevertheless there are a lot of altcoins which mining have negative profit now. What prevents Dash from turing into such loss coin? |
