I have received 2 Antminer D3 today.

The fans are on "auto" mode, but one of my D3 has a very high temperature for one of the chip (chip 3, 91° C)
On the other D3, the chip number 3 is around 86° C.

Is it to high or it's ok ?

The PCB goes from 60 to 70° C max.

disconnect your miner and give each a little shake, if u hear rattling that isn't the boards themselves then its prob a loose heatsink. What is the room temp?

The D3 are not in my home, i can't check this for the moment At this time, i put the fan manually to 95%, and downclock the Antminer.
But i repeat, the high temperature if for the chip and not the PCB, on the bitmain website they speak about temperature limit but only for the PCB (and not the chip...)

What could be the limit temperature for that ?

I can see why you are so confused. Dash network has something that adjusts the difficulty. I think its called dark gravity wave. I cant explain to you how it works, as i dont even understand it. But if you do some research you will get your answers.
Also i dont think your actually mining dash atm? If your currently mining, you can see your average difficulty of each day.

So i suggest you calm down by not calling people idiots and making bold statements without any experience of mining. Because you will look like the idiot yourself.

Welcome! Yes completely newb question lol. No one knows how long for roi. Your guess is as good as everyone elses. Its always a risk when it comes to mining. Nobody can calculate this because we do not know the price of dash in a few months from now, or how many miners are being manufactured and sold.

New batch does 19.3 ghs at around 1200-1230 watts. During the day I turn it down a notch to 16 / 1000 watts to make them around 60-70 degrees celcius. I'm a happy camper thanks Bitmain!

Hi, how did you modify to get that the power and temp? Also, could you modify the fan speed to reduce the noise? How do you deal with noise?
