I heard zpool has 20% hidden fees, is this true? So is Granatgas Pool a good alternate pool then?

I've had this exact problem, that Bitmain has described in the firmware description:
Code:
1. fix the issue: some miner's chip status is 'x' after running for several hours or days.

I'm glad they have fixed it now, I just installed the new firmware and no problems yet.  Smiley

Are there copies of the OLDER firmware someplace (or anyone?) you know how it works..you upgrade to NEW firmware on an asic miner
and we're better off with the previous version....

just asking ...will likely have this done...but wondering on fall back if needed

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

I currently have the September 13 and November 2 firmwares downloaded to my computer hard drive.

edit:

I uploaded them in my Mega cloud, in case somebody needs these.

good to know...will pass it on to my buddy ...supposedly the data hall will get mine TODAY.....the psu arrived last friday...

(now of course I jinx'd it ...damn it!)

on an aside my 1st D3 (the 2.7k dubious purchase) is maybe getting 16.5gh on a good day ...er make that maybe 16gh...thus I hope something
like this helps

20gh like you on the 2nd unit would go a long way on me at least being even at say 35gh for both

WAIT...who am I kidding..these things are gonna be mining AIR next month as per elec price going in vs crypto coming out.....

(I still plan to mine the most dubious of x11 coin I can find..just to mine something damn it ..even at a loss.....call it a frigging D3 lottery hope/dream/likely tragedy)

Ack!

Which pool do you recommend?  It's so odd that some calculators show -$10/month for me, and some show $150/profit month.

That's your call based on your requirements and preferences.

If you would like to be paid in BTC, NiceHash is by far the best place to rent your hash.  Check their stats.  They regularly state the payments that go to sellers of hashrate exceed what you'd get by mining with 100% luck, and in many cases by quite a bit.  Just use their internal wallet to keep the fees at 2%.  (My sig has a referral for them.)  At the moment I have no reason to believe they are fudging their stats.  Someone stated here you have to watch them because sometimes they pay less than "100% luck".  From what I can tell they don't show that stat for X11 like they do scrypt and sha256.

If you want to play with other coins, Prohashing can pay in you in many different coins.  However it's a 5% fee.  If you think you can compensate for that fee by playing a coin, that may be best.  Someone stated here you have to watch them as well because they have some instability issues.

I think there are a few straight Dash pools as well.  However I don't know what they are.  Read back through the last few pages of posts to see.

If you have more than one D3, maybe set them to different pools for a few days and compare the results.

M

I mine at Kano's Pool because it pays the best and is completely transparent!  Come join me!

Be careful with Nicehash right now for D3. I love Nicehash, but they are almost $2.00 p/d below switching pools. I suspect people aren't renting hashing power on X11 as much, what, with the mass destruction and all....

Good point..  You always have to watch the payouts on any pool.

M

The old nicehash website used to have a page that showed what the 24 hour pay and current pay is for all the algos.  I can't seem to find that page for the new website.  Does anybody have a link for that by any chance?
