Hi. I was staking 13000 sigt for the last week. Every day it showed :"approximate time to receive reward is 1 day"... the next day it showed the same thing but I never got anything... and like this for the last 7 days now! Can somebody explain what the joke is with this whole staking thing...Huh

Have you unlocked your wallet? Also are you using the old or the new wallet? I am using the new wallet and personally speaking I have not had any issues in not getting rewards. Mine are projected to be every 2 hours.

Hi, I am a new in a cryptocurrency business. Could you tel me, my staking icon is an inactive. It says: " Not staking because you don't have active coins". What I need to do? I have on my wallet 1000Sig and on YoBit 21000. Do I still need to withdraw from YoBit or can not participate in a staking process?

You have to have coins in your local wallet on your PC or Mac. Then you need to unlock your wallet. For a thorough overview of what to look out for to ensure your are staking have a look at this YouTube video from one of the community members: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpl30-71NkM

My wallet was always unlocked... the staking sign says it's staking and my weight is the amount of coins I have ~13000. For a week now it was like this, I haven't received a peanut... It always says you will receive in one day... but the next day it says the same thing and I still get nothing.

Like the devs reminded us, it is better that we focus on SIGT related issues and help members with their concerns and update them on any new developments or announcements. Don't quote or engage those who think SIGT is a scam or pump and dump coin. Let's respect their views, that's their right. Let's just move on.

Yes, this is also what I notiiced. The estimated staking time changes. Sometimes it even becomes longer. I have 10,000 coins staking. I just left it unlocked for staking 24 hours because I put it in my mining rig. After two days I got 3.16 SIGT as stake reward.

Here's an article about staking on a different coin. This could help clarify how staking works. From the article, it says staking 24 hours is not required. But you have to run your wallet for a few hours from time to time.

I don't get it, if you feel that way then why take the time to visit this thread and post negative comments? Nothing better to do with your time? Surely it's better to get involved in something you actually want to invest in.

Taking the time to visit this thread to laugh at all you idiots for involving yourself with a shitcoin that's not even in the top 100.

Signatum brings nothing new to the table.

Had you invested in Bitcoin instead, you'd be better off.

But please, go on and tell me why I should "invest" in this shitcoin ?

Cool story bro, so why are you still here? I don't care about this coin but seeing all you guys trying to fud it is quite amusing. You made your point, move on.

Can one of you guys please explain to me how to stake my coins?  I have my wallet unlocked but it has all my coins listed as "spendable" and where it says "stake" it says 0.00 SIGT.  Do I need to do something in order to stake my coins?  Please let me know.  Thanks.

If your coins mature enough (aprox 60+ confirmation in your wallet) and wallet is unlocked, staking will start.
Just check lightning symbol in left bottom corner and you will see somthing like "Expected time to earn reward is xx days"

Thanks.  Do you guys have any idea as to why the value of SIGT keeps on dropping?  I thought POS was supposed to drive the value up.  It's down to only 700 sat right now.  I bought a bit because I think it's cheap but I'm concerned to see the price dropping this low.  It doesn't make sense.

Definitely it will go down. Since nobody is trading, everybody is expecting the 5%. Everybody is holding. Price depends on trading. No trading, no price increase. Expect it to go down as much as 100 Smiley

The price is down because there are no buyers. It is not without the seller.
The more the sellers, the more overbought the supply -> lose value.
The more buyers the supply exceeds demand, the higher the price.

The coin should show of what POS is. When and if POS is true and people are really receiving free coins. It might trigger (MIGHT??) interest from investors. But because of too much controversies, this coin is still on wait and see.  Grin  Grin  Grin

Coins will only move to stake when you are chosen to mint a block... when that happens depends on how much and how old the coins are.  Check the lower left hand corner lightning bolt icon..

BTW, if your estimated time to receive a reward is a long way off, you don't have to keep your wallet open.  You only need to keep it open (and unlocked) when staking actually occurs.  So you can close the wallet and come back in a week and check your status.

I got 26 Sigt from staking like three days ago and nothing since. It says my estimated time to reward is 1 day So I guess i have to leave my wallet running 24/7. Interesting system.
