So let me get this straight. They have proven the speeds and even have pictures of the unit, which means it has already been developed and the majority of the costs have been paid. So why do we have to wait until end of September for shipping to start? Will Inno just be mining with the units for 2 months and sitting on our money?
At least its nice to see someone finally blow Bitmain out of the water. Hopefully the price won't be a disappointment.
Scheduling to get new ASIC wafers ... there are only so many foundries that do this work, so everyone at one point or another, gets in line. take that and testing before shipping out 1000s of units across the pond, and you have the logistics of Sept. |

Ehh, I don't buy it. They haven't had to have a presell of this magnitude before because they have plenty of funding. Either they are mining with the units, or saw Bitmain's release and wanted to get their product out there also. |

Wow, USD$10k per unit. Seems a bit steep. You can get 3 D3 Antminer for that amount, which is 45 GHs vs. 30.2 GHs from the A5 Dashmaster. I get the power efficiency, but that's a big premium. |

I would be on the fence at half the price but 10k is too much. I'm not a fan of supporting a monopoly but seriously, bitmain is the only one pricing a miner in a reasonable range for x11 right now.

Just cant get one... Bitmain is claiming their's will be shipping sooner than innosilicon is claiming to ship these things. |
