Can anyone order them off of Gigawatt? I'm definitely wanting one especially since they seem like you could make some good money off of them. I tried going to their website but the one I found said "Out of stock" and that you had to be a WTT holder or something like that. I have also tried finding them on skype but have not had any luck just yet lol  Tongue

Halo Platform is one of the fastest Blockchains I've seen yet. They have FREE transactions. 250 Millisecond Block speeds. Smart contracts, Masternodes, blockchain games, and their own high speed DEX with BTC/ETH/USDC pairs. Similar to ETH, Waves, EOS, and more yet with only $1 million mcap. This video showcases the speed and reliability of the blockchain using the DEX, Masternodes (that will soon payout in BTC and ETH), blockchain games, and more! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g74d3ixX7E8&feature=youtu.be

I believe you have to be a WTT tokenholder to purchase mining equipment from them. I received an email a couple weeks ago stating this. They seem to be very responsive via the normal channels.

Thanks for the quick reply! I guess I will do some research and see how hard it is to become a token holder. So they don't have any of the A5's in stock through right? These don't ship out until October? Do you know if that is right? Sorry I'm a little new to this but I'm learning as much as fast as i can.

I also have a guy wanting to sell me 3 Antminer D3's for 18k lol, its crazy because I'm sure he purchased them for 2600 a piece. I'm not going to pay that much but I'm just wondering (since i'm looking at a few of the D3's) should I wait until the next batch of D3's through bitmain and try to get a hold of a couple or should I just buy one of the marked up ones? I know they don't ship out until september.

I also have a guy wanting to sell me 2- L3+'s for 7000 lol bad idea or nah? I'm not looking for any trouble so please just understand if I have any stupid questions it is due to my ignorance of this industry so far.

You can buy this preorder at https://www.gigawatt.sg/shop/dash-miners/innosilicon-a5-dashmaster-psu-batch-1/ and lock in hosting at 3.3c kwh with onsite repairs. You have to be a token holder in the ICO http://alturl.com/ugese   you could buy just one token and then rent tokens or pay retail hosting otherwise you should buy enough tokens to power the A5.
You can check out their instagram see build out going fast and on time https://www.instagram.com/gigawatt_mining/

IF you don't know Giga Watt check search CEO name on coindesk https://www.coindesk.com/?s=dave+carlson

No offense to innosilicon but I felt safer preordering from Giga Watt, if there are problems I feel like I'll get a refund easier and if it's a piece of shit constantly having problems then I'll have pros helping keep it running. I trust innosilicon not to run off with my money, but I've been burned by pre orders before. Delays, specs different than specified, and yes those that just never deliver. So I trust Giga Watt, only way I was gonna order one of these and sick of Bitmain dominating mining scene.

FYI, this is not about cloudmining, but about purchasing the hardware yourself and putting it at their facilities at reduced power cost. Yes, you can visit their site and look at the equipment, they have open days which you can attend. So

Quote
stop supporting cloud miners dummy's, buy you own gear and host with a reputable local company if you must

--> Yes, this is exactly what you can do via Gigawatt. Why being so agressive?

The A5 are still available; as we speak there are still 158 in stock.  However, this is an WTT exclusive offer, which means you should buy enough WTT tokens available to host such a miner (1375), sign up at their miner shop with the same email and subsequently get verified as a WTT token holder. Only then you will be able to see and purchase the A5. Same held for the D3, but those are out of stock. So if you are not verified as WTT token holder and are not logged in, you will NOT be able to see the stock of A5.

D3 will be released at the same time as the first batch of A5 and with the price of 1.6k. Does it still make sense for 10k price of A5?

I think you answered it yourself. Why pay 10k when antminers are 3.2k for similar hashrate before OC. Also, I'm hoping Innosilicon follows through with their numbers, but for some reason in the back of my head I remember they always show a very high hast rate which they never seem to get close to. Maybe this time is different, but I can't believe people paid 10k for that...

The power savings on these will help but it wont be worth the 8k+ premium. Inno should be ashamed.

technically, all the tiny companies priced their stuff based on hash rate return...if you take bitmain out of the equation, this is a great price from inno. Usually if something is profitable, Bitmain steps in and destroys the competition since they have the funds for it.

these guys cannot make hardware at the low cost that Bitmain can spit it out at.

The power savings on these will help but it wont be worth the 8k+ premium. Inno should be ashamed.

I think we have to keep things in perspective.  Other companies brought X11 miners to market first when there was little market and little profitability.  The entire crypto market took off and Dash/X11 got a nice run up.  Those companies that had made the X11 miners who were looking a little weak and somewhat foolish suddenly became rock stars.  Everyone clamored for X11 miners so the manufacturers responded as fast as they could.

What I don't think the manufacturers expected was Bitmain to come after this market the way they have.  iBelink set the bar by announcing early pricing for preorders and only in large volumes.  Baikal was completely silent when they have been the rock stars since the beginning of the year and sadly they didn't have a monster miner in the works while iBelink was bringing a big boy.

iBelink announcing a price gave Bitmain a way to price the market and squash the competition like a bug.  Inno once again seems to have the worst timing.  Just like the A4, not long after they launched that miner Bitmain launches a competitive miner that hashed better, used half the power, and was priced under the Inno A4.  So Inno was left holding the bag.  They took a beating on the A4.

Again Bitmain uses their monster monopoly position and the info from the competition to beat them over the head.  There is little room for these companies to recoup their engineering investment when Bitmain out of the gate prices these miners at this level.

The people at iBelink will probably be OK, they did the preorder early enough to get people buying miners at premium prices and likely sold enough to dig themselves out of the hole for the money they invested to launch this.  However I am very concerned for Inno.  They didn't announce this miner soon enough.  They didn't get the orders they would need to recoup their costs.  This has to be a terrible blow to Inno and I don't know if they will survive this as far as continued investment and support for the mining community.  I just don't know if they can absorb that kind of financial loss.

The A5 on paper might be more efficient, but there is no way to justify that cost when Bitmain is out trying to squash everyone competing with them like a bug.   Realistically Inno can't compete at that price point, there is no way.   Nobody is going to compete at that price point that Bitmain has set.  If Inno could get that A5 price point down into the $4-5k price range now that prices are dropping and diff is already skyrocketing Inno might be able to move some miners at this reduced price.  But I wouldn't hold my breath that they will do it.

I think they would probably take a loss on every unit moved if they dropped the price that much.  So who knows if they will even offer A5's beyond this pre-order batch.  I would think they have probably put in at least one decent sized order so there would be miners to sell to the general market as a batch 1, but once those are gone I have my doubts there will be anymore.

So before we throw Inno under a bus about being ashamed I would try to put it in context.  And frankly I am very concerned for the miner market and our community after this because we may see most of the manufacturers take a beating and not come back with more miners in the future.  If anything I feel bad for anyone trying to offer a miner that has to face Bitmain.

What is happening right now may be the kill shot for anyone competing with Bitmain.  I hope I am wrong.

Bitmain is now too strong. The thing I do not like Bitmain is that they usually start to sell around 5am US time. It is too early for me and I have always been too late.

We are F'd.

Bitmain destroyed us.

Yes, Bitmain dropped the hammer on Innosilicon with the price drop. At $1600 for the D3, it makes absolutely no sense to buy an A5 from Innosilicon, which will reportedly ship the A5 in October, after the first batch of D3 miners ship in September.
