Innteeressstinnngg, so your using the spot request price hehe,

You were able to automate if your spot instance gets terminated?

I tried to look into it but couldnt figure it out, props to you!

nearly.. i have several much more permanent vps', i placed a batch file containing the entire buildworld procedure in it (apt-get update && apt-get install -y build-essential... etc massive one liner).. then on amazon user-data, i have a small bootstrap script that downloads the batchfile and executes it..

I raised the IP ban threshold by 400% if you want to try it again; threadlimit is still 24 as we still need that in.

Try adding these 2 lines to your biblepay.conf file:

addnode=node.biblepay.org
addnode=biblepay.inspect.network

The biblepay price is currently sitting at 14 satoshi. What is your expectation in near future? I think we have a bright future.

log1k, Ive heard there are 550+ miners, network hash is super high now, with 700k hps I think youll get 1 block a day

(my understanding is that current network hash is 100x higher than it currently shows)

theres been a lot of push for dev to make a hash pool because solo mining has gotten so hard, the pool is mostly working now Smiley

hmmm, looks like last block paid out was 45 minutes ago:  http://pool.biblepay.org/BlockDistributionHistory.aspx
I think I see you on the current leaderboard: http://pool.biblepay.org/Leaderboard.aspx

looks like its taking the pool awhile to solve blocks, Im seeing payouts spread 30 minutes to 2-3 hours apart, on the block distribution history page

What is the difference between "Hashes Per Sec" vs "Hashes Per Sec2" in the leaderboard?

Log1, did you find yourself in the block distribution history?  I dont see a user named log1, if not what is your username or minername?

Hashespersec is what the box is reporting for its speed, hashpersec2 is what the pool is measuring; payments are based on hashpersec2.

Yeah, he is baz. Maybe the pool only counts the shares at the time of finding a new block? Because I remember he left the pool before it found any blocks.

Thanks for answer. BTW, I have tested a few hours, seems like it is quite stable now.

LOL, yeah, I see our price keeps dropping by 1 satoshi per day, but thats probably because people have a high degree of fear of whats going to happen Friday when we empty the orphan wallet, but I think Monday when they see the orphan database they will have a change of heart.

Anyway the pool is *OK* in most respects, performance wise seems very good.  I am waiting for the effects of the next release to hit to see if the diminishing hps bug is resolved as I want to keep the problems isolated, so we can fix things properly.

The release is being tested in testnet now by a couple people; we will post more in the pool thread once its working.

We have not released the pool to prod yet as I believe this the pool is still in beta.

When it comes to price, you cant avoid some miners just dumping immediately for ROI. I have not sold anything yet as i think the price will go much higher when the coin is more known. Also the volume is very low on C-Cex, lets hope bittrex wants to add biblepay! Smiley
