Sometimes demons are showing themselves as angel of life. How dare you guys to use the KJV bible to attract people to buy your scam. A wallet with a virus good luck.

Religious connotation aside, this is an interesting use of hashing to support a blockchain. Checking your Github.

Windows wallet gave 2/59 detections. They look like false positives but as with any untrusted software, run it on a virtual machine if you're going to run it at all.

Struggling to get this thing to mine. Setgenerate true -1 does not engage all the cores on the CPU.

Got the new wallet mining. It seems the -1 function doesn't work the way you would expect. I'm running mine at 14 thread and that seems to max my cpu. As far as an antivirus finding something I wouldn't worry to much. It's fairly common. But please take measures to protect yourself.

If the antivirus is detecting something, it is half and tense to download and install. The right and then use a VM .. Tenso these false positives .. Sad

Ok thanks. It worked by not using -1 but rather the actual number.

Most wallets come up with 1 or 2 hits on virustotal, because in the past built in miners were used for malicious purposes by botnets. Most of the time they are false positives but you never know. You have to go with your gut on the results or do some research. Most of the time you can see if the results are just tripping 1 or 2 suspicious behavior triggers. Sometimes it is clear that the wallet is spiked when bad trojans come up.

There are some good practice tips in any event:
- work on virtual machines (VM) if you are unsure. You can kill the VM if things turn bad
- compile the wallet yourself from the source code
- the safest is to compile yourself on a Linux VM in the cloud.
- wait a few days and if you re-analyze things will have crystalized on Virustotal and more positive hits will occur if there was something bad.

Been mining this since last night and I've gotten two blocks so everything seems to be working, more or less. That was with the old miner, the updated one actually seems to be utilizing my CPU cores to their fullest so I'm hoping snatch some more blocks before everyone's using it. Hopefully we'll see a mining pool soon to take some of the RNG out of mining.

I like the idea behind this, hopefully the dev team is committed to carry through on it.

I setup some cloud mining but diff is starting to increase. Blocks already at 184 at time of post.

what is RNG?

Random number generator. Just means there's a lot of luck involved in solo mining.

It is excited to know new algorithm. May I know if this algorithm for CPU mining only and resist to gpu?

And what is the requirement to setup a masternode? Thinking to try setup a masternode by using one of my vps machine.
Yes, CPU only.  It resists GPU by including the AES512 Encrypt+Md5+the 31000 chained bible verses in the hash function, things that are hard to port to plain c.

As far as Sanctuaries, you will be able to run one on a cheap linux VPS, but it must be dedicated IP and on a dedicated VPS node, and with a certain biblepay stake amount (not determined yet) sent to an escrow address, we will need to see what our average trade price is for 90 days and then determine these things.

Do you mean set up a masternode in vps? It is interesting and I would like to try since I have 2 vps on hand currently. I will start mining to gain my coin for masternode needs later. Thanks.

BTW, it is good to know another new CPU only mining coin, keep up the good work.

Is there another CPU mining coin? Where can I find this information?

I think right now the difficulty is very low. Every one can get a block using solo mining in a day or two.

BTW, I have managed to build Linux wallet by using dev's installation notes on Ubuntu 16.04 successfully. I first tried to build on Ubuntu 14.04 but failed, googled around and found problem could be the issue of openssl, trying to update the openssl version but no idea how to override old openssl version.

Network hashrate = 637khps at block 211. One question: how to check my hashrate?

Coin of Magi is not CPU only. it can also be mined by GPU.

Part of the evaluation during the last phase of development was Luke 9:62:
No one who puts his hand to the plow and then looks back is fit for the Kingdom of God.

So in summary, I am building a team who is committed to this project, and with hard work, we will maintain a quality product and attract some good volunteers to keep it all running Smiley.

Regarding the Virus false positive:
I promise and assure you there is nothing in the source Or the compile that is bad, and the compile is exactly from the source on github.  In addition, C-cex and all the exchanges will pore over the source and see that there are no bad business logic rules that result in squirrely balances, and the integrity of the money transfer and signed keys are solid.
