Very promising project. It's nice to see that even in such, not the best times for the project and its community - the project is developing confidently! Good luck to the developers!
It's a very active project. Never feels like this might be dying anytime soon and the main guys behind this are very eager and determined to take this to the next level. Zencash is always consistent in all forms of progress and development efforts, no one if it still exists to date and compete with other great altcoin. People underestimate the power of zencash. Last week I was talking to friends about privacy coins and someone admitted zencsh is the most promising privacy coins. When people will realize this, the value will boom like the big bang

The 2.0.14 release of ZenCash is now available for Linux The zend software on your nodes must be updated before the June 28th deprecation when the current version will stop working. The method you need to use to update depends on how zend was installed. There's a new mandatory update required for all securenode hoster. Here's the official guide for the update https://documentation.zencash.com/display/ZEN/Upgrading+Secure+Node+Software

I've read the official update guide for 2.0.14, and when I run "sudo apt-get install zen" on my VPS, it gives me "E: Unable to locate package zen", can anyone point out what I'm doing wrong?

I set up my nodes with the guide from 'Block Operations', that's why I couldn't update zend with the guide from official blog post. I re-installed zend with the documentation at 'ZenHelp', and now its updated to 2.0.14.

Lost their coins or simply stucked on wrong chains.? With the upcoming mandatory software upgrade, and generaly good data security practices; it is critical that users keep regular backups of their wallet.dat files. Please see our documentation for MacOS, Linux and Windows on how to backup and secure your wallets. https://documentation.zencash.com/display/ZEN/Backup+Full+Chain+Wallet.dat

You'll just be unable to generate a transaction that's compliant with the new consensus rules until you update. Meaning you'll need to update to move your coins. You might also need to reindex depending on if You updated after the HF date, and your old node invalidated some blocks.

Angie is awesome and doing a great job in the Zencash community. I am glad youtube has the subtitles She is right when she says how it's important for the team to spread the word and explain the advantages some countries can have while using the Zen platform. We can't expect to see people understand cryptos without learning something, it's a matter of education
