BTC will going down after hardfork, and people will invest in diffeent ICO. So November must be a good time for alrcoins and ICO...
Nope, one more fork is on the way and it will probably become more of a deal. Probably December will be good for icos. The November fork is a bit different, isn't it? These segwit2x guys don't want to be a new coin, they want to be the better BTC so I can imagine this just hurting the BTC price. ETH could profit which would effect the ICO but ETH was cheap a few days ago so potential investors could have gotten in already. Hardfork will be today. And segwit2x will be at November 16th. Hardfork was actually yesterday, not today. I hope ETH will rise a bit again as the price is pretty low imo. If Ethereum can recover after Bitcoin dumped in the market, it still does not mean the ICO market also comeback and Datum will raise a lot of funds fastly. I just want to see the result after first day Datum open crowdsale, it is important to help me know this project really has strong community or not  For the datum ico a cheap ETH price would be very good, since potencial investors could buy more from it and invest it in datum. LEts hope for a happy ending, these are not the best times for alts.... |

i read the op, then i saw that you conducted the pre sale last aug. i want to know about it..
1. is is successful?
2. did it sold out?
3. how much was raised?

You can see it on their site : https://datum.org/ , scroll down or search this : the datum presale It was raised 5000 ETH And it was successful because it did sell out By the way, 5000 eth was the soft cap of the project so it is achieved too. 5000 for the pre sale? thats a great amount already. but how about the token sale? what is your soft cap and the hard cap? or are you refering that 5000 to be tha soft cap already for the token sale itself which is already raised during pre sale? Yes, 5000 was the hard cap of the pre-sale and it was the soft cap of the project. Now it is not how much more investment will be there, the project will continue no matter what happens. wow, that is so great that the soft cap for the project is already collected during pre sale. i wont wonder if they will raise more during the token sale. |

Yes, that gives all who are interested in the ICO now the safety that the project will continue, no matter how much money will be raised during the ICO. |

From what I understand I think they will have some sort of collaboration with CIVIC, in order that you can use it to identify yourself and verify your data. I spent 12 hours trying to get in the Civic ICO, then my transaction failed. I got so pissed I never bought Civic, even though I really like it. Datum & Civic colab would be great for both! |

hopefully not. all these forks are giving me a headache Bitcoin silver looking like fake but who knows. Besides, there is already an upcoming fork on November. Segwit2x is on the way. CIVIC is a great platform for ID identification, this will secure your data even more. DATUM will have a great future ahead for sure , cant wait to see everything fully operational. |

When there is a huge bonus, the ones who invested in the pre-sale tend to dump their tokens when they can get some profit which drives the price down below the ICO price. So if you look at the price as an investor of the main ICO you will ask yourself, why you paid the ICO price and not bought off an exchange. |

When there is a huge bonus, the ones who invested in the pre-sale tend to dump their tokens when they can get some profit which drives the price down below the ICO price. So if you look at the price as an investor of the main ICO you will ask yourself, why you paid the ICO price and not bought off an exchange. In simple terms it averages the price of the tokens down. Any higher price comes from speculation on future value or a deflationary mechanism in the token. |

To much pre-sale bonus is very dangerous for a project because the falling price after it goes to exchanges leads to nervous investors.
