What do you prefer? BTC or ETH?

I prefer bitcoin even if eth is gaining popularity now because bitcoin is still the number one coin for me though there are some issues that is still going on right now about the hard fork.

Yes me too, if i have to choose one, sure i prefer btc because btc is old coin and have a good potential for long term, for example 2 years ago i still hold my btc when the price $ 350 and now the price $ 2600 so we can get some profit

BTC is the strongest currency, so I like it very much, however, if you compare BTC and ETH, I think ETH is more potential, using ETH is easier than BTC. My favorite is the opposite of reality, it is hard for me to choose.

I still choose Bitcoin over Ethereum because BTC has been in the cryptoworld for almost a decade now and look at its progress within that span of time. Who would've thought it will reach this far and with the amount it cost right? So I would choose bitcoin above everything else in the cryptoworld no doubt about that and don't care if bitcoin is splitting or making corrections.

Also ETH have a Scalability problems which probably could solve POS.
But PoS as a method is not secure and we had a security issue before with ETH.

A lot of hacks.
POS could solve scalability ,but will it be secure?

Also after PoS dificulty will be less,so as a price.

Dont forgett that ICO craze is over after SEC regulators come.

Bitcoin is Bitcoin it cannot be compared period. Now Eth is not Bitcoin, but it's a dam alt and alts are only promising for a while but then they are not that good. Eth has for the time being given some good returns but I don't prefer it cause it's a Alt, and for that reason I don't ever invest in it, I hate alts, cause seen lots of people invest and loose their hard earned money in it. So my suggestion is to move in for Bitcoin and not eth.

I would still choose bitcoin, because i guess it has been more promising to me and i can say also to others and now that bitcoin is a working progress digital crypto currency and more and more of people are recognizing it, using it and trusting the service of it there is no doubt that people will choose it more that eth. Eth is yes a form of alt. Both involves risks, but eth comes with more. Bitcoin is more beneficial than eth. In my opinion people should invest in bitcoin that eth.

Allow me to answer the original question and pardon me if I did cut the flow of correspondence... I currently prefer ETH over BTC, not because I don't believe in BTC.. but because of two things:

1. BTC is undergoing a hard fork pretty soon and I dunno how this will affect it in the long term.
2. ETH has dipped so much due to a lot of factors (possibly including the BTC and BCC news)

Once things settle down on the Segwit2x issue and BTC blockchain is proven to be stable, then perhaps, I'd start converting some of my few ETHs into BTC, or buy myself some more satoshis.

I think you are right, now bitcoin is rising because people want to get a split from bitcoin, but after that maybe bitcoin price will go down and they will move to eth, because eth price at this time can be said cheap after experiencing high enough decrease.

I prefer bitcoin to ethereum if I am giving a choice to make between the two. Bitcoin is like central banks to ethereum and others coins or altcoin including the present bitcoin split group called Bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin is even at the infancy stage time is coming that bitcoin will be above $50,000.

Not worried about the major update of bitcoin, although the issue says the price is going down, but I'm sure it will recover. Both are very good, i hold btc and eth because both are very potential.

Not really, I think ETH has to go through a lot of time to actually go to the moon just as bitcoin is already 8 years old and even it through a really mature process to get a lot of interest of the community or investors from some countries to jack up the price

I prefer both. Both are good crypto currencies but Ethereum drops more than btc from its high in the recent time. But in the present scenario I would prefer to buy Ethereum as btc is very costly now to buy I will wait for Btc to drop so that I can buy more Btc & I am damn sure in the coming days Bitcoin will rise.
