People always said that ETH will be the next Bitcoin. Since Bitcoin is having major updates, will ETH will launch into the moon, soon?
An interesting question. Between BTC and ETH, maybe I will choose BTC. Bitcoin is a big electronic money, I think it is the largest today. Bitcoin is the starting point, the foundation of many of today's altcoin, operating on modern blockchain technology, its value is quite high and is attracting a lot of investors. But if allowed, I would choose both because both BTC and ETH have the benefits, the value of each type. ETH is not only a currency but it also does many other things through its programming language. On the other hand, Ethereum is also a useful application platform, creating a distributed financial ecosystem of its own. Currently, the growth rate of ETH is quite high, many investors also choose ETH as a reasonable investment. |

I think eth will because eth is chasing the bitcoin's value. Even eth has a lower value than bitcoin, eth is still growing fast. Eth investors are also growing up so when time comes by, I think eth will surpass bitcoin's value. |

I would always prefer bitcoin no matter what altcoin is having speculation to reach moon if altcoin reach to moon then bitcoin will reach mars bitcoin and s original form even I do trading based on bitcoin where altcoin markets like ether delta or hit btc still not having more opportunity.

ETH will always be next to bitcoin.  No one will take that away from ETH. But never will it happen that ETH will be able to replace BTC. That is more than impossible. Bitcoin is far far away and Etherium will not be able to catch up. Take a glimpse of the charts at least for today. |

For me I would prefer to use both because this two for me gives me the same opportunity and income. I save Bitcoin in my wallet just like having savings at the bank and ethereum is the one that I used for trading.

I don't think ethereum is actually a competition to Bitcoin. Bitcoin, without any doubt is the most popular and most stable cryptocurrency available in the market. No altcoin can surpass Bitcoin

I absolutely prefer bitcoin over everything just as gold. But I love to use Ether for tokens as well. There are very great Ether projects so I can't pass it over.

In past time, community of Ethereum has compete with Bitcoin. But after the price of Bitcoin breakout $3,000 in recently, they can't continue keep opinion Ethereum vs Bitcoin, because look Ethereum at now, it like supporter for Bitcoin on the road growth. |

The techonology which Ethereum have right now shows a really good perspective, a lot of features which is allowing other cryptocurrencies hold in to your eth address not using other clients that was really easy to keep your funds save, not using different programs and softwares, smartcontracts which is the most useful technology right now for Ethereum and have a really big interest from people who dont want to pay third persons for making transactions. But bitcoin is really popular right now and marketing bring it up to the newer prices and people trust it more then other cryptocurrencies and between this two coins i will chose bitcoin right now but in a future eth will get more popular

I without a doubt prefer Bitcoin. Ethereum is a nice world virtual machine, but for holding money, the array in crypto-currencies that interest me the most, Bitcoin is probably better suited, thus my preference.

btc is rising really high and its make everyone really loving how well this investment brings to us, as far as I concerned its much better to hold btc than
eth since the support level from btc are already big and more investors are bringing btc to its new level maybe we will see 5000$ before end of this year
or more than that.

1.ETH announced good and promising scalbility solution. Vitalic and Poon (creator of lighting network) will develope a new concept,which potentialy will allow billions transactions per sec.
It is called Plasma.io
2.A lot of ETH tokens are in a top 30 now. Some of tthem are quite intresting.The grow of eth tokens positively react to ETH.
3. OmiseGo is about to deliver ETH mainnet to the mainstream very soon

Metropolis update.
Bitcoin with Segwit is also very good.
I prefer both BTC and ETH

I love BTC and it will be the best for me as long as possible!ETH have good system that could do some big surprise.As we all saw its growth in last weeks/months . ..
But still deep in my mind and heart i say that BTC developers will not stay just like that and will not wait until it crash.
I would be really sad if i should change my #1 coin!

Bitcoin is a head of the cryptocurrency. I prefer in 1st choose is btc but ETH raising fast. In future ETH taken more strong position in crypto world.

I keep coming back to btc. A few weeks ago, I stepped up my eth game, but was disappointed by the network capacity problems at that moment due to a couple of big ICO's.

In simple terms, I like btc and hope it'll be back by segwit to make everything complete.
ETH on the other hand is growing fast with new technologies but I still back bitcoin.

theres no need to compare. btc is the main and primary cryptocurrency in the world and it is a lightyear away from eth. maybe it is safe to say that eth is the new btc but btc will also improve and make other cryptocurrencies develop and take it to the next level.

^this Eth is looking great, major corps have ads for solidity devs everywhere atm. But still nothing wrong in my eyes with BTC, I think whichever you were to put money into you will at least double your money in 12 months. BTC is digital gold, ETH is the infrastructure. metropolis and OmiseGo to supercharge Ethereum, I think Eth will close it's ratio with BTC in the short term and $500 by 2018 looks good. But BTC has the potential to shoot for the moon in the medium term. Longer? Who knows. |
