The best Altcoin currently I think is Etherum. I see the graph of the rising etherum movement and its decline not significant, but it always shows its rise. I was asking myself what to do when cryptocurrency goes down and found out that the most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now. The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster. I also think that for young coins, there is a much better chance of a good profit, it all depends on their technical part and investor interest. |

Clear answer for this question is in my mind: Triangle of Ethereum, Litecoin and Monero.. There are many other altcoins even better than others (eos, iota, neo) but I prefer these 3 as all of them are proven good coins.

Icn (High potential to increase in near future)
Adx (Price is low from ico but price will increase soon)
Vsl (Profitable)
Eth (Best option to invest for long term)
Ae (not on exchange yet)
