I am a slot lover too... but it is a pity that these Slots are from third party service providers and not original Stake Slots. Also, most of these Slots are priced in Fiat values and not designed for Crypto micro betting.

Adding 240 original Stake slots will be impossible in a relatively short time, so the decision was understandable. The good thing is, the Stake's original is still there, and users can still play it. I hope they will develop more Stake's original though, not then become complacent.

It is already on the plan, Stake is going to add more original slot games in the future. I remember someone from Stake talked about it on chat long time ago and I hope they will not change the plan because of the addition of 3rd party games.
Creating new original games takes longer time obviously as they need to create and develop it from zero.
But I hope the other original slot games wont be just a different themed slot, but it should be different type slot (at least the grid, payline and feature should be different).

What this means for community - less spammers, that were there only for the rain. Anything else this change might improve ? What do you think and why the amount was changed?

I see people begging on a regular basis in Stake chat rooms to the point where I closed the chat multiple times which is why I feel this is a welcome change and a step in the right direction.

Wagering $500 is not a lot though if you regularly gamble, but it will reduce the beggars to a decent extent which is what matters.

Exactly, it is easy to offer better bonuses and even with no strings attached when you offer it to KYC players. But fiat sites rarely do that. For us every promotion/giveaway we offer it gets abused heavily and it sortof ruins it for real regular players.

Those fiat based casino knows whom they are giving the bonus and it is difficult to misuse the promo's on fiat based or kyc based casino. In online casino, i have witness people mostly misuse of the bonus because of the anonymity factor.
However in my opinion Stake is still a very good casino as compare to other online casinos and i always enjoy playing there.

Can you please help me understand how your house edge works?

Lets take the Scarab Spin game as an example.
On my calculations chances of getting 5 WILD symbols in scarab spin slots is (1/30) *(1/30) *(1/30) *(1/30) * (2/41) = 0.000000060222824% and the payout for this win chance should be x16605000 (The bet amout 1 / 0.000000060222824% divided by win chance).

However in the payouts table it says 5 wild equals to x10000 payout.

As we all know, the house edge comes from a percentage decrease in payout in favor of casino. Can you please explain how did you got the 2.16% number? I'm not sure if that number is correct. Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks.

I have nothing against slots from a third party, but it's always nice to discover something new. I used to play Scarab Spin quite often, before Blue Samurai was released. I think it is not about the price change as much as actually having long time to be there. If a beggar that bothers people wagered 100 dollars and not a new spam account, that means he is also probably capable of wagering 500 as well, not all of them but difference between 0 to 100 and 100 to 500 is very big, when you move from 0 (anyone can chat right away) to 100 dollars, you are making sure that people who gamble there a bit stays, 100 dollars could be a lot of money for many people since we do not all live in big nations, but when you consider we have been here for years, it suddenly becomes a very small amount (plus people like me who took advantage of being very early).

But, when you move from 100 bucks to 500 bucks you are just saying people who can wager, but a bit more, which is not a bad move, definitely support from me, but there should be harsher spam punishments as well.

For regular gamblers, wagering 500$ is easy and those people mostly do not beg for free money on the chat. For new gamblers, as soon as they wager 100$ they start begging on the chat, although i think chat could be used for many useful discussions other than asking for rain and money. I like this new decision of skake.com

If the minimum amount increase for chat to be eligible for getting rain then those people who wagered only 100$ for those bonuses will be invalid. They have to reach 500$. So,  they would not be able to spamming without reaching 500$. As a result spamming will decrease.

I thought 5 wilds in the Scarab Spin slot is just a myth for me as I have never expected to get 5 wilds but luckily I manage to hit it several hours ago. Even surprising I hit it on my first spin after moving from playing the plinko game. I hoped to have played these slots with micro bets too... but they are just a BTC to $ conversion of the original Fiat casinos... not really Crypto games.

They were spamming the chat by saying something good to hope they could earn money from that whale from tip/rain. Once you wager at least 500$, you are able to chat permanently. For players who bet small amounts it is quite a big increase, but understandable to lower the amount of spam.
